I could get behind this mock. If you are going to take an ILB, grab Minter LSu

I like the draft, but I dont see Jordan being an option if we trade back. Once he gets timed at the combine he'll end up to 20. A lot like Bruce Irvin last year.

I love it!

I like Rambo, but I don't know if he is a Garrett RKG.

I see you covered RB with UDFAs. I was hoping to get one in the mid-rounds, but I don't really want to pass on the players that you've picked. Maybe, look for a RB over Kevin Reddick.

What's the deal with Cierre Wood? I know he was suspended to start the season, but he looks more talented than starter Theo Riddick.

Terron Armstead would be great as a UDFA. He crushes players at the Arkansas-Pine Bluff level of competition.

Good find on DE Chris Jones. I had to research him. He looked good in the game footage that I could find. He's a little short for 3-4 DE, but in the 6th round that can be overlooked.

I like the overall approach, but I don't know that a lot of those guys are going to be there where you suggest.

For instance, Rambo should go before the late 3rd, Cierre Wood will get drafted, and if Nassib moves up draft boards, so will his most reliable receiver, Alec Lemon.

He is using NFLDS rankings. I think we all know that the rankings will change drastically by April.

His mock will be success if all of the players he selected get drafted earlier. This will indicate that he was more informed in December than the "experts" at NFLDS.

Reddick is there for insurance mostly, in case we happen to lose both starters again next year..........I sure pray we dont. Still, if you get a chance go to a few stat sites and check out his stats....they are good for a guy being picked in the late 5th.

As far as RB goes....There are 4 I like....Giovani Bernard (2), Stepfan Taylor (3), Kenjon Barner (4), and Ray Graham (4)........and I would much rather have Thomas/Warford, Holmes, Rambo, and Williams over any one of those RBs....as my 4 solidify the trenches and our secondary, and RBs are a dime a flippin dozen.

Actually the thing I dont like about my mock is that we miss out on WR Quinton Patton....I want him in the worst way. I love his game on the field and I love his character off it......but in order to get him, he is either our only 2nd round pick, or we have to somehow pull another one out of our dark crevasse.....

Great mock! Love all the picks but especially the first 5 picks. And if Quanterus Smith is still there in the 7th, that would be a spectacular haul.

The first round should be G, C, or OT
The second round if available would be John Jenkins. see what you think:

Do you mean John Jenkins? I was doing some reading on mock drafts and this guy looks like the real thing if available in the second round:

"Haloti Ngata-type presence.

The junior-college product Jenkins (6-3, 351) showed off massive size with some surprising athleticism in his debut for the Bulldogs in 2011. The junior had 28 tackles, six tackles for a loss and three sacks. Jenkins has 50 tackles, one blocked kick, one pass batted, two tackles for a loss and one sack this season. The sack came against Alabama guard Chance Warmack.

Jenkins is a massive load at the line of scrimmage. The senior is a natural fit as a zero-technique nose tackle for an NFL 3-4 defense. It helps that he already plays that position for Georgia. "

Jenkins got handled in the SEC championship game by the Alabama offensive line from Barrett Jones to DJ Fluker, now another story was their linebacker Jarvis Jones he was very active and put on a show. You might have the two mixed up. My take from that game was the OLine had their foot on Jenkins neck most of the game and Jarvis did what he wanted when he wanted. I am not an Alabama guy or Georgia guy.

my mock had us picking at 22.....by then, all the OTs and OGs that I would take are gone. I do not believe Barrett Jones is the guy for us. Honestly, the only OL I want in the first round is OG Jonathan Cooper.....but picking at 22, he is gone. There is no one at 22 to make a huge impact, so we trade down, add a pick and get a great impact prospect in Dion Jordan.

Then in the 2nd, if we are able to get Thomas, we get an outstanding OL prospect who can play T and G.....so not only is he athletic and nasty, but he is versatile. Warford isn't as versatile, but he is still big and nasty, a nice consolation prize.

In the 3rd, we get what many believe to be the best C in the draft. The only other one I would put on his level is Frederic from Wisconsin, but he may decide to return to school for his senior year. Holmes plays mean and is the QB of the OL. Then I took a playmaker at Safety in Bacarri Rambo. He may not light it up with his measurables, but all he does make an impact defensively.

In the 4th, Brandon Williams will be the absolute steal of this draft. He is big, athletic, and plays with a purpose. He is a humble and polite person, until those helmets come on. Then all he wants to do is beat you into submission. He can play DT and DE for us....but most likely would be a DT.

In the 5th, we get another small school prospect in Foneki. He is one of the best small school prospects in the draft. He is a big, nasty OT. At this point in the draft, he is a great pick. Then we go ILB, to a guy flying under the radar. Reddick is a very solid propect. He plays the run well, while also doing some nice things in coverage. He gives up some depth at a position we need it in case Lee and Carter are not ready to begin next season.

In the 6th, Chris Jones is another under the radar guy. He knows how to get to the QB. We complain about our DL getting pressure, well this guy can do that. He has a ton of sacks and QB pressures for his college career. He also has shown he has the ability to drop back in coverage when if we decide to zone blitz. He is not an elite athlete, but he is quite sound, and can simply get it done. CB Josh Johnson is here for depth. He is the best CB available. To be honest, I am not a big fan of the CBs from this draft, not even the 1st round prospects. With that said, JJ is a decent prospect. I feel he could be a good 4th or 5th CB for us.

In the 7th, we get an absolute steal. He is a 2-4 round prospect, but because of a nasty injury, he freefalls. All that means is we get ourselves a prospective stud that we can stash away for a year while he fully heals and gets up to speed in our strength and conditioning program. Then in 2014, he can come in and be ready to make an impact.

Jenkins is big and fat....so yes he takes up space and makes it hard to run the ball.....but IMO, he is not all that great.

Give me Floyd and/or Brandon Williams instead.
