Free Agency will play a big part on what we do in the draft. So I'm going to go need by need and offer some players that will be free agents and name the top players in the draft for that position.

I will start at RT. Free will pretty much be gone.
I liked what I saw in Parnell but I don't trust him just yet. I want some competition for him. Free agency might be to high to go and get a RT.
I put in bold the players I like.

Free Agent OTs are
Phil Loadholt
Brendon Albert
Gosder Cherilus
Andre Smith

Draft
Luke Jockel(no chance)
Taylor Lewan(no chance)
Jake Matthews
Eric Fisher
Lane Johnson
Dallas Thomas
Oday Aboushi
Brennan Williams

Get a 2nd round OT that can compete with Parnell for the RT position.
This is a bit early and some other player might jump up the draft board in the next few months.

Agreed we should go RT in Round 2.

Let that guy and Parnell battle it out.

Get a quality OG in FA and move Berny to OC and let him battle it out with Costa. And possibly draft an OC in Round 3 as well.

Costa is a RFA and might be gone and I dont want him back. Cook will have one year left on his deal.

Although I really want to address the safety position at some point I have no problem going with Cooper in the 1st and Dallas Thomas in the 2nd

Really hard to just grab a guy and stick him on our team but Dallas Thomas does look like a great fit in round 2.

But we may well find the team prefers Lane Johnson or other players.

I'd like a pure RT in round 2 but if the position is picked over by then we may be left to grab a mediocre FA as insurance and swing OT.

He isn't gone and personal preference has little to do with reality.

Costa will be back and will get every shot to start.
Cook is back and will compete for the spot.

Not really sure why Costa is assured a return to the team? Could you please explain? Costa was pretty awful. Insofar as personal preference is based upon the realities of the player's performance, then I think it is wholly relevant to the discussion.

How do you overlook Vollmer? Sign him and draft Barrett Jones, I've been saying it all year. That's automatically a decent line, then I'm sure we'll have some tricks up our sleeve for whatever interior positions Jones doesn't play. I have faith

Parnell will be the starter at RT in 2013.

Vollmer is 29 turning 30 and has back issues and will cost some money. That's why I didn't add him.
