So there was no child there 10 minutes ago, and now there is still no child, but there is a pair of child's shoes ??
Could someone have just dropped the shoes on the way to their car?
What am I missing?

Yea, I've heard that before, but it seems kinda unreasonable. I mean if it's such common knowledge, the police would know it too, wouldn't they?
