What's his deal? Was he on the Ravens 53 or practice squad?

my guess is they kept him long enough to get a pension, dude fell down stairs and cracked his head before ever playing a snap professionally, sad story

True but he fell down those flights of stairs because he was drunk. It was no secret that he had a bit of a drinking issue. He got a DUI a couple years ago too. He's only 25 , so if he can prove he's healthy and ready to go, (which is a big if) it wouldn't hurt to bring him in or at least evaluate him. Kid was beast in college as a pass rushing OLB.

I'm ok with taking a "Free" look at anybody in the offseason or training camp.
