It's probably Youtube. I have problems on my desktop all the time. Youtube can be a real pain in the butt.

I would definitely like to know Youtube's construction. I will watch some videos and they download lightning fast, others will pause for reasons unknown. Segmentation and certain infrastructure segments are having issues? While that seems feasible, my overall experiences (as an infrastructure admin) it seems kind of odd to me. It's all well too often and overall much to selective.

Some routers don't get a long with iPhones. My AT&T modem doesn't work the best with iPhone for some reason. It's a known "bug". Other modems/routers work perfectly.

Do other sites work at full speed? If so then it's just youtube.

I would check against other high traffic web sites. Also download speedtest.net app on your phone to test network speed.

I got 32 ping, 5.22 Mbps Download, and 0.49 Mbps UploadThat's not great, but you should still be able to stream any youtube video instantly.

Never had trouble with youtube speed whether it be on my computer, Iphone or Samsung.

However anytime I try to load a video from the yahoo site...it seems to take forever and really lags.

The thing is it's not a consistent issue. Most of the time it's fine but when it starts doing this it does it for a few days or so. Really annoying.

Is this wifi connection at home?
Do you have cable internet?

When it does it for a few days or so does the rest of your internet go slow?

I ask this because recently I had trouble with my internet at home. Cable ISP. And since I use wifi at home for my phone and the wife uses it for Ipad we were having trouble.

Ever few days or so and it would last a day and a half at most at a time...our internet would go down.

Called the cable company and the guy came out and put a new wire from the pole to the house for the modem. It seems the line was just old and needed replaced. Have not had any trouble since.
