I was there last night in Philly and was impressed. New York location is opening up next month. If you are a meat lover, try this

Hands on my best Brazilian Steakhouse experience. Awesome food, awesome drinks. Prices are high though. Meat and Salad runs for $52 per person. Salad only runs for $25 in Philly location.

I've been to the one in Chicago.

I don't generally like to go out, especially to fancy eating joints and double especially if there is some sort of dog and pony show that comes with the experience.

I was literally dragged into this place.

Can't wait to go back.

I was a guest and the company I was visiting wanted to impress our group.

Well now I can't wait to go back. I was upset when I found out they didn't have a New York location but they gave me the good news and told me they are opening up the New York location very soon.

I went recently and it was as good as I remembered. My step-daughter is a vegetarian and she loved the salad bar. Us meat eaters had a pretty good meal, too.

Fogo de Chao is a Dallas original. It was the first US location--actually in Addison, TX.

When I go again, I won't be so easily distracted by their salad bar.

I made that mistake the first time. Gets in the way of the animal protein experience.

We have one but it's called Texas De Brazil. I don't think I ate anything for the two days after eating there. :laugh2:

Well the headquarters is in Dallas. 2 brothers started out in Brazil and got purchased by a Brazilian fund. Brazilian fund sold them to a Boston based fund and now they are expanding in the US big time.

People who have money should consider getting a franchise of this

Food was great -- drinks were inauthentic (made with Rum rather than cachaca)

This. Texas De Brazil is hands down my favorite place to eat. Super high quality steak, and the Salad bar is actually really amazing.

I literally do stomach stretching techniques for a few days prior to going, then I do work.

Yeah, but what sucks is there salad bar is awesome too. Could make a meal out of it alone. Been to the one in Dallas night before a game...didn't even wanna eat at the tailgate the next day. The lamb was my favorite.
