I'm watching the NFLE game and Woody just got blew up. The Fire's RB was running down the sideline and WD tried to make the Tackle and got ran over. He didn't try and wrap up all he did was lower his shoulder and turn his head like he was scared of the contact. Smith the RB just lowered the BOOM on him. Ray Lucas calling the game said Smith was the Hammer and Dantzler was the Nail. Man that was embarassing.

I think it was a mistake to try him at Safety, he just doesn't have the right mentality. QB to safety is a real stretch. We should have kept him at RB where he belonged, at least there he would have a chance.

Yep... he's an offensive player, not defensive. You got to have that defensive mentality to work over on the other side of the ball.
He should've been kept on offense somewhere and be a kick returner/utilitarian/emergency QB.
Bottom line is that he doesn't have the skill to really make an NFL team, but Parcells likes the guy, so he tried to put him somewhere where he might could develop and stick around.
It isn't working at S though.

RAY Lucas, but yeah, it was kinda textbook embarassment.

I have no clue why I said KEN brain Fart... If BP saw that he prob thought what the hell is he doing trying to make a tackle like that.
Is it me or is he constantly out of Position? and did he look scared of the contact on that play?

Who allocated that Bethea kid? He looks fairly savvy, tho that fumble he cause was just as likely to end up in missed tackle.
As for Woody - I think Ray was on point when he said for these 1-7 or whatever NFLE teams and there players, this is last gasp time. Coaches and GMs will be looking at these last few game tapes and looking to see that the players are playing every down with heart and energy. Separating the quitters from the still breathing.
Today Dantzler looks more like a fish out of water than I have ever seen him this year. One game earlier this season he looked more willing to give up his body..a few forces outs that he took full impact on and APPEARED to relish it. But to me it's more a mental thing than physical with this guy at safety..his body isn't going to catch up with his head until he gets it, and as of yet he doesn't get it. He has little react instinct, and time is running out

He was Clemson's QB, and his height more than anything prevented his getting a shot at NFL QB.
He was a bit of a Poor Man's Vick, tremendous leadership.

I like the other CB Brightful he is cocky but good last week he said if they throw on me 4 times I'll get an INT and the fourth time they threw at him he Inted it and the next time they threw at him he Inted it again. He already has one today as well and last time these two played he had two int's
Oh hes from the Giants
I got he played QB at clemson I looked it up I said I was wrong and it wouldn't be the first time nor the last.... :)

I don't know but I bet he will make the Giants this year. I don't think any player we sent over makes our team the only one I see making any team is Kinkade because he is good receiving out of the back field.
The player that's really surprised me this year over there is Jerratt Payton. I think he has got the carries he needs and will make the Titans. 72 carries 445yards 6 td's 6.2 AVG
I hope the NFLE stays around it beats the heck out of baseball and some of the games have been rather decent...

Wasn't Woody over 1,000 yds rushing his last year in college? I love him as a player, I don't think he will make it as a safety though.

yeah I think he set a Division I QB combined record - most running yards at 1000 along with 2000 yards passing.
he was projected as a tailback in the pros.

Well Woody just made a game ending stop on WO Cedric James.
Has admitted he is working on "developing his defensive mentality".

Then he followed it up with a total wiff on the 40yrd catch. I'm still wondering what he was thinking on that play. He should have leveled that receiver but it looked like he just waved to him as he missed him. OH well a win is a win...

He's been doing that all season. Honestly....BP must have some pull over there and has them play him regardless, IMO. He's really worse than not good, at that position.

Dantzler had an amazing KR against SF, and was above average on his other returns. He hasn't done much in terms of returning kicks in NFLE, or at Safety. I'm not sure he even makes the roster, especially if one of our other guys can do a good job at KR. He needs to show something really special again..It's a shame, cuz i Like the guy

Danzler won't be anything more than camo fodder.
