i hope to FINALLY go to my first cowboys game at texas stadium late in the season, and i am looking on-line for tickets.
(i have been a huge cowboys fan since i was about 5, and i'll be 30 soon.)
i'm looking for some cheap tickets, but i have seen some close-to-the-field seats availble behind the end zone. what i want to know is, can any of you tell me what it's like to watch the game from there? do you get a good feel for the action? do the players ever come over before the game?
also, does anyone know the best place to buy tickets? has anyone had a bad experience with any sales agent?
thanks, everyone.

I was behind the endzone when I went. I wouldn't reccomend it, but others might.

I feel like I missed a lot of the action and couldn't really see what was going on, especially when the offense was in the redzone at the other end.

Depth perception is very tough in the endzone seats. To me, the best seats in the entire field are about 30 rows up on the 15 to 20 yard line. You can see everything, you have a good chance that you'll have some great action right in front of you and you don't have to worry about the sideline people being in the way too much.

I hate the endzone seats at Texas Stadium, but that's just me. Now the seats in the corner (two or three sections over from the end zone) are decent. The problem with end zone seats of any kind is that it's difficult to follow the action at the other end of the field.

my opinion: if you want the best experience, go ahead and spend the money. It's your first time and you don't know when you'll have another opportunity, so spend as much as you can afford for some good tix.
As for where to buy: If u go the ticketmaster route when the tix 1st go on sale, you might get lucky. If you go the broker route, you're almost guaranteed to get some good seats, but it's gonna cost more.

Day of the game, parking lot, or at the bridge. Great seats, cheaper the closer to game time.
Never fails. Or at least, never failed me.
Now, if you can find a guy that goes by the name of 'Skinny', he can hook you up real good. But that'll be some $$$$.

Skinny? OK, you'll know who he is because he will be the 420 LB guy selling tickets. :D

LOL. Actually, the guy is like 6-4 and skinny as a rail. And you won't find him in any parking lot. He's an interesting character to say the least, haven't spoke to him in a few years, was a very dependable fella, and did me right more than a few times.
I've tried for a couple of years on different boards to find someone who might know him, but no luck, which is surprising, considering his inside stuff and easy access in the Dallas area.

I'm on board with this. One game every 25 years? Make the most of it. Otherwise you could regret it for a long time.

Let me look through my address book... I know a girl that has season tickets (two seats) and she sometimes doesn't use them...
They are on the 48 yard line in the upper deck... about 20 rows up... nice seats...
She only charges me face value for them... plus shipping...
