With all the sadness and trauma going on in the world at the moment, it is worth reflecting on the death of a very important person

which almost went unnoticed last week.

Larry La Prise, the man who wrote "The Hokey-Pokey," died peacefully at age 93.

The most traumatic part for his family was getting him into the coffin.

They put his left leg in. And then the trouble started.

Might be just me, but I thought this was worth a chuckle...:)

Even KNOWING it was coming it was still funny...

You should hang your head in shame.

There's a bumper sticker I see every now and then here that the first time I saw it I couldn't stop laughing.

"What if the Hokey Pokey really IS what it is all about?"

:p:Personally, I thought it was classic. :D

<<singing>> They put the left leg in, they took the left leg out. They put the left leg in and they shook it all about.

The problem is the leg was kinda stiff...

I'm not a hater. You know that, Trick. I just thought it was the one and only "Tricky Icky Shuffle".
