After the big moves we made this off-season I am wondering, how are things looking with the cap situation next season. Having a year under there belt together the D should be dominant.. Is it likely that we will have the funds to dip into some offensive Free Agents if there is something out there we might want. Im thinking of a WR and a RT if still needed ? Who on our roster will be a free agent ?

I am not positive, dont have any numbers, but I gotta think we will be ok. I am firmly a believer that Jones will never get close to a salary cap hell again. Plus I think they are gunna be primed to pull the trigger on a few Offensive players next year, along with the draft.
Dont forget, the Cap should inch upwards again next year, allowing for a few more dollars.
In all, salary cap is one issue I do not ever worry about again, since the mid 90's debacle, I am sure Jones did not like that one bit, and I am sure he was feeling worse about that then the fans, I dont think he will allow Parcells, stephen jones or anyone to place his team in that position again.

We've still got over 8mil available in cap space now with the Rookies taking close to 5 of that then your left with just over 3mil in cap space. Then factor in any signings we may have and cuts that are possible I think we go into the season with about 4mil available in cap space.
