If not, see this movie. I saw it in the theater and laughed my tail off. Of course, I thought it was going to be a politically biased movie. It was not. It was however, very funny.
I'm curious who has seen this movie and what you may have thought about it.
I liked it so much, I want to buy it now that it just came out on DVD. It's definitely worth watching twice.

I watched it last weekend. It was pretty funny. The speech about the three types of people was pretty good and the "love scene" was hilarious.

I have seen that movie probably 10 times and it gets funnier each time... every Sunday here on the ship is "All Request Day" for movies to be shown on TV, and it's pretty much guaranteed that we will see Team America at least twice that day since the beginning of this deployment (which started in January). Lucky for us, we get movies soon after they are released in the theatre, for instance, as soon as we pull back out to sea (we are in Dubai, UAE right now) we will be getting Episode III which is showing out in town but I don't want to have to put up with the subtitles so I'll wait a few days and see it here on the ship.
Team America has given us a second language out here to pass the time... whenever we pull into a port over here we always have to exchange our money for "Durkadurka money"... "Be respectful to the Durkadurkas out there", and everyone says "Oh, HERROWWW" to everyone else... among some of the more tame sayings from that movie...
That's right though.. that love scene kills me... I wonder what they are putting in the special edition DVDs though?? Anyone have it?

That's hilarious ... me and my buddies do the same thing. "Durka Jihad .... dirka dirka dirka ...."
If a guy like you can enjoy it and not be offended you know it's not a leftist movie ... there was a misconception that it would be ...
The special edition "I think" has some unedited love scenes ... as if the edited ones weren't funny enough ... and there should be some other stuff. I'll buy this in the next day or two and tell you what was in it ... I saw it twice in the theaters ... but I'd definitely watch it 3 or 4 more times.
Good hearing from you, IC. Keep up the hard work and watch out for Durka Jihads ...

The studios send them to the Navy Morale Welfare and Recreation Department and they send them to most of the ships that are currently on deployment. Sometimes we get pay-per-view off satellite (Don King loves to show the fights for free to the military) other times we'll watch it tape-delayed by a few days. We've come a long way from the days when you watched two-week old news videotapes to find out what was going on back home...

I remember when you said you got a kick out of the movie... that's when I made up my mind I was not going to waste my money to go see it... ;) But when I saw it on here I was laughing the entire time... from the power-puking scene to the love scene ("I will NEVER die...") to Kim Jong Il's constant mispronouncing everything with the letter "L" in it I don't think I stopped laughing that entire movie... "You're %&#!@*ing up my pran!!!!"... LMAO

I like the soundtrack ...
"What would you do?" and the different variations of "America, truck yeah!!!"

From what I heard and read, the South Park creators threw in that graphic muppet love scene to throw off the censors. They figured that if they put a scene in that was so off the wall, it would desensitize the ratings board and make them focus less on taking out the other dirty jokes. They never even planned on having that puppet sex scene. Looks like it worked! :p:
As far as the misconception that the South Park guys are liberals, check out this National Review interview:
