Which option would you prefer?

I didn't know Chavous was released, but he is still a questionable guy. I want to play with what we have, let one of the guys on the team currently win the job. As of right now, an appreciable amount of our cap is tied up in the secondary. If one of these cheaper guys we already have can suffice, then I would like to see it happen.

I like Davis a lot, so I hope he can do it. If not, I know what I need for next season.

I regretfully go with option #3.

The only FA FS I thought we should have looked seriously at was Sharper.

Chavous has not been released although it has been speculated.
I was just speaking hypothetically in regards to Chavous.

And I agree completely on the above Sharper statement.
I thought the same thing back in February.

I think Dallas needs to keep some money in reserve in case a position gets overloaded with injuries. With all the backup corners and free safety options we have, someone has to step up. I think the Lynn Scott is serviceable, if nothing else. And he has improved steadily, who knows he may go from serviceable to solid. We'll see!

I hope the Dallas Cowboys do sign Corey Shavous... but im one of those Keith Davis fans which I think he should deserve a fair chance to beat corey shavous for some split playing time and some of the time like in Dime let Corey Shavous play coner and put Keith Davis at free safety but at times have lance frazier and Corey Shavous at free safety...
