I agree with all of this this except for the Seinfeld cast. I guess I'm the only person in the world that has never seen an episode of Seinfeld. I don't find him funny.

That's just it Seinfeld was the least funny part of the cast. Jerry had his moments, but that show belonged to Elaine, George, and Kramer.

It also had great bit players with the Costanzas, Newman, Puddy, Uncle Leo, and Larry David doing the voice of George Steinbrenner.

That's what I have heard but I just don't care to watch the show.

Don't feel bad...I may be the only person on earth who never saw one episode of Friends, MASH, Raymond, In Living Color, the Brady Bunch, or most any other famous sit com over the past 30 years.. Haven't seen SNL since Bill Murray.

Just never cared much for series tv, and the only comedies I watched faithfully in the last two decades were Cheers and Dinosaurs. :D

I opened this up with every intention of saying Wilder and Pryor. See No Evil, Hear No Evil is classic.

I didn't like Stir Crazy much at all. Silver Streak wasn't bad, although it wasn't a true comedy.

Richard Pryor also wrote the screenplay for Blazin' Saddles.

That's a bit harsh, perhaps we can just decorate the forum with some nice shrubbery. Lay it out in a nice two tier display.

We could also cut down the largest tree in the forrest with a herring.

Thank god almighty. I couldn't believe I was about to get to the end of this thread and not a single mention of Monty Python. I think they were the first people that came to mind (for me at least) when the topic was best comedy groups.

They really do have chemistry... and Wayne Brady adds to the mix...
