What positions do you think we draft next year?

here's my priority list:
1) WR M Williams would be awesome, no one else looks as promising yet
2) CB Rolle would be a pretty incredible pick up
3) DL either DT or DE to groom
4) LB inject youth
5) RB depending on JJ's production (or lack thereof) this could vault in need
6) OL you can never have too many starting quality OL

I hope you get Mike Williams too. That would mean you have a horrible season this year, or you give up the world for him.

I don't think that they all are "youngsters". I didn't even know that school was out...

I think Braylon Edwards out of Michigan is the better WR. Antrelle Rolle would be a helluva pick.

In round 1 we will look WR and DT. CB in round 2. I think we'll get back our 3rd round pick and use it on OL. Depth the rest of the way.

Mike Williams is the #1 goal.

I think the WR position will be such a critical need next offseason that the Cowboys might want to address it with free agency, instead of waiting 2 years for a WR to develop.

I wouldn't be surprised to see us try to upgrade our LB in the draft next year, as Al Singleton is kinda "just a guy" and it might be a position of strength in next year's draft. His buddy Al Groh has two good ones at Virginia who could go in the first round next year. Ahmad Brooks is a great one. Also, we need to start looking for Woody's replacement, stat.

I agree on Williams or at least a WR in round 1.

Just wondering.....

CB.....If Hunter and Thornton are players, do we really need to go there? Again?

DT.....I guess I need to see how our d-line as a whole plays this year. Is Wiley the long term answer at DE?

OL.....Are we going to need to reload anywhere?

But geez, I have to wait until the season is over and free agency gets going to see which direction we need to go.

I haven't even got this year figured out yet!

Good points BD... who knows what's going to happen. I would guess the only position they wouldn't draft high on in QB but heck they could do a "draft & trade".

My initial feeling that of course depending upon need, one of those first round draft picks will be traded to recoup the 3rd we lost on Henson. Maybe even something like we did this year. Trade a 1st for a 1st in 2006 and a couple other picks in 2005.

i was surprised to see my cousin eric king (cb from wake forest) listed in the top 64 '05 draft prospects posted on here a while ago. that would be completely unbelievable if dallas ended up drafting him. on the other hand, if he got drafted by the redskins i think i'd be beside myself. My guess is he'd be a late 2nd - 3rd rounder depending on how he does this year, so if we wait to address the cb need until next years draft i suppose its a pretty real possibility.
