Did anyone see the interview with Dahani (sp) Jones last night on Nfl Network? A Carolina Panther player, Mike Minter I believe, and Minnesota's tight end was there as well.

Two things about the interview.

1. Rod Woodson made the comment that Parcells had never had back to back losing seasons and that Dallas would be a surprise team in the East. (not his exact words). Jones said IF he had to pick a team that would give them trouble it would be Dallas. Also mentioned that if Washington and NYG keep improving they will be a threat this year also????????? NY maybe.. but Washington?? does he not read the papers or this board?......idiot.....

2. It sounded to me like Dahani (sp) was trying to sound like a professional with his analysis....... He made me think of the Aflac duck when he walked out of the barber shop after listening to Yogi Berra's philosophies   .........
Maybe Dahani thought he was more educated than the rest of the guys??

Maybe Dahani thought he was more educated than the rest of the guys??I saw some of the interview and thought it was interesting. Dhani also mentioned that the window for Philly wasn't closing as soon as many people are led to believe. He mentioned something about 4-5 more years. I was on the phone, but didn't catch it all.

BTW, Dhani is actually a pretty intelligent guy, IMO. And he's been on TA before whereas except for Rod Woodson, the others were new to it all. May not always agree with his analysis but he generally comes across like he at least has a clue about what he's talking about and he has the ability to get his point across.

I think the 4 to 5 years is a bit of a reach.

Maybe I need to go back and listen to the interview again....seemed like he was trying too hard to convince the others of his opinion.....and there's a slight bias toward him because he plays for the Igglettes. :iggles: :iggles: :iggles: :iggles:

This was prolly one of those things where NFL Network shouldn't have covered the team of one of the active players on the panel.

Who does Rod Woodson play for?Nobody. There was 5 people on the panel. Jermaine Wiggins, Mike Minter, and Dhani Jones were the active players with Rod Woodson and Darren Horton kinda moderating the convo.

They were giving an analysis of the NFC East. That's what I meant about having an active player on the team they're actually analyzing.

Wiggins and Minter were not that insightful. I think Dahani knows what's comin' to him this year.
