Report: Couch agrees to a one-year deal with Packers

FoxSportsNet's Jay Glazer reported on Foxsports Radio that former Browns' No. 1 pick Tim Couch has agreed to terms on a one-year, $1.25 million deal with the Packers.

The deal to become Brett Favre's backup also includes incentives that could increase the package. Couch has yet to sign the deal but the Packers expect him to join the team in the next 48 to 72 hours.

The team also may wait until then to announce the deal as Couch still has yet to sign it.

Good signing by the Pack. I guess we will see if he can play in a couple of years. Why wasn't he traded again? I thought he wasn't willing to take a pay cut? It sure looks like he wasn't asking for much? Is this another Brown screw up?
