Pre-season hype support group.

Every preseason, we hear about "so and so" a sixth round draft pick out of What's A Matter U College and how high the coaching staff is on him. We hear about guys who have finally "gotten it" and have improved tremendously in the off season. We hear about a guy who catches EVERYTHING thrown in his direction like a human Venus Fly Trap....

And then the season begins and they all suck.

So, I am looking to put together a support group which maybe we can call "Hype Busters" to remind eachother of all the times we have bought the hype in the past about a super talented player....only to see the same guy turn back into a frog the second the season begins.

Do the name Billy Davis mean anything to ya?

That's what I really like about BP. You don't get near as much of that crap about players as we used to.

It is a refreshing change from prior years. It is rare for him to single out a guy and give him praise. I was shocked when he said great things about D Stewart. I remember last year you could tell he was high on W Blade but was so reserved in what he said about him.

Yep...and the media plays a role in it too. They're the worst because they have NOTHING to write about....and it's only gonna get worse because we know how much information Parcells leaks to the media...ZILCH.
