Neither Henson or Romo looked good yesterday in the scrimmage.
Romo had 2 turnovers in 9 plays.
Henson denies he injured his hand but it was well-wrapped yesterday.
Parcells appears to have interest in Ricky Ray.

Can't remember if BP did. Kinda rings a bell. Comes from a football powerhouse though. CSUS (Cal State University at Sacramento). Sac State Hornets for the un-initiated. Alma Mater of yours truely.
Saw some highlights of him last year and it looks like there is something to work with. Strictly 3rd-4th QB PS material right now though.
Me personally, I'd always have a QB on the now expanded 8 man PS.

I'm from Canada and I am able to watch Ricky Ray every week. He's got a strong arm and of all things the ex-Cowboy Jason Tucker is one of his wide receivers. I think he's another project at best for the Boys right now.

He's with Edmonton now so it's a moot point until November when there season is over. If we're interested that makes sense. Get him in here in Nov-Dec in time for full off season program and then some while Romo is in Europe.

I sure several teams would like that....but he ain't leaving Atlanta.
They consider him essential because they expect Vick to miss time.
Maybe when his contract is up (2007), but he isn't coming in trade.

I think they're just guessing at anyone since it's supposedly a young, developmental guy Parcells has in mind as opposed to an old vet... And they know we had some interest in Ray a couple of years ago.

Being stuck in Canada for a few more months, I have been watching CFL :mad:
And Ricky Ray is horrible, talking about odd throwing motions. Seems he just flings it up there sometimes. But he has the numbers and somehow it gets completed most of the time. But we are talking about inferior talent compared to the NFL. Those would be INT's in the NFL.
To sound like Spags...if he was all that, then why is he in the CFL, why hasn't another team signed him.

I doubt seriously anyone will be able to get Schaub until he becomes a FA. He is VERY valuable to Atlanta right now with the way Vick plays the game. I know Atlanta doesn't want to be in a position like they were 2 years ago when all they had was Doug Johnson as a backup QB.

Ricky Ray is worse then Romo IMHO.....he couldn't cut it with the Jets......The CFL is a good fit for him seeing how WR's are always wide open.
If Carter didn't face a 4 game suspension because he put himself in a clinic for help then I could see him comming back....there isn't anyone better IMHO unless of course we trade for someone.
Bill wants to win now....he is too old to lose.....If these backups don't pick it up...there will be someone brought in....and don't be surprised to see 40+ Vinny here.
