Going to break down each play individually......

1-10-DAL20 (15:00) J.Jones up the middle to DAL 20 for no gain (A.Wilson).
JJ had nowhere to go, did very well to get back to the LOS. Allen got his guy, Gurode kinda go his, Rivera got two good blocks. Flo got Berry. Polite go the LB on the iso. Wilson came through on a perfect run blitz. Petiti whiffed on Chiki and he got a piece.

2-10-DAL20 (14:25) J.Jones left tackle to DAL 23 for 3 yards (O.Huff).
Wow. Only one who threw a block on the whole team was LA. Gurode missed his guy pulling to the left, River missed scooping the LB. Petiti kinda cut blocked Okeafor. Flo pulled and whiffed. Politte missed. Witten missed. Amazing jones got three yards.

3-7-DAL23 (13:39) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to J.Witten (A.Wilson).
Gurode once again does nothing. Rivera and Allen and Flo got their blocks. Petiti gets beat to the inside, Okeafor hurries Bledsoe who is hit as he throws. Witten wasn't really open.

4-7-DAL23 (13:39) M.McBriar punts 53 yards to ARZ 24, Center-J.Condo, downed by DAL-T.Crowder.
Good punt.

1-10-ARI25 (13:21) J.Arrington right tackle to ARZ 27 for 2 yards (A.Singleton).
Al does a good job defeating the block and scraping down the line to make initial contact. Coleman gets a piece, as does Glover. Roy comes up and blasted Arrington as well. Brady fell went to the right for some reason and was blocked.

2-8-ARI27 (12:53) K.Warner pass to L.Fitzgerald to ARZ 33 for 6 yards (K.Davis).
Quick swing pass that both Al and Davis overun. If Fitz doesn't fall, he gets more yards.

3-2-ARI33 (12:07) K.Warner pass to O.Ayanbadejo to ARZ 34 for 1 yard (R.Williams).
Quick swing to FB, not a lot to evaluate. Glover destroyed the center and hit warner as he threw. Roy hit FB immediately to force punt.

4-5-ARI30 (11:27) S.Player punts 52 yards to DAL 18, Center-N.Hodel, downed by ARZ-D.Anderson.
Barber screwed up on this, he should have come up and fair caught it. BP was yelling at him on the sideline as it cost us yardage.

1-10-DAL18 (11:15) J.Jones left end to DAL 25 for 7 yards (D.Macklin, C.Okeafor).
Power left, Witten, Flo, Allen all make blocks blocking down. Rivera pulls and gets a good block. Backside does decent, amazing, we get yardage.

2-3-DAL25 (10:35) J.Jones up the middle to DAL 27 for 2 yards (A.Wilson).
Tough camera angle. Seemed like every one got a block. Petiti stayed on Chiki but he got a piece of Jones. A. Wilson was the 8th man up and made the play. Solid, tip cap to cards. Okeafor is really an impressive player. Good nose for the ball.

3-1-DAL27 (9:54) J.Jones left end to DAL 30 for 3 yards (D.Dockett, B.Berry).
PENALTY on DAL-A.Gurode, Offensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at DAL 27 - No Play.
Gurode hooks his guy. Everyone does their job, Pollitte had a real nice block to help Julius. Good tough run by JJ, shame it was called back.

3-11-DAL17 (9:25) D.Bledsoe pass to J.Jones to DAL 16 for -1 yards (R.Davis).
Not a heck of a lot wrong here, good recognition by the Cards who flew to the ball. JJ slips and not a great pass by drew.

4-12-DAL16 (8:52) M.McBriar punts 57 yards to ARZ 27, Center-J.Condo. J.Redmond to ARZ 49 for 22 yards (K.Davis).
Great punt. Lynn scott got trucked. Geez. :bang2:

Glover and Coleman held at the point of attack and flowed. Brady shot up to the hole and blew the play up. Was actually hooked violently by the G. Should have been a penalty. Al and Dat made good plays. Dat came all the way from the Weakside MLB to make the play. Ware did a good job avoid the cut block and scraping down the line.

2-10-ARI49 (8:03) K.Warner pass incomplete to B.Johnson.
3-4 against 3 wide. Ware in coverage covered his man. Not a ton of pressure. Henry good coverage, incomplete.

3-10-ARI49 (7:58) (Shotgun) K.Warner pass to B.Johnson to DAL 31 for 20 yards (K.Davis, R.Williams).
Nickle D vs 3 wide. Ware at end, chipped by back and swatted away by Davis. Canty at DT, beats his man and is in Warners face as the throws, Glover and Ellis, nothing. Couldn't really see who gave up the pass, it was right in front of Davis though. Roy should not be credited with an assist here.
Ok, actually, it was Glenn who was in Zone. Looked to be cover 2, Warner found the opening.

1-10-DAL31 (7:18) J.Arrington up the middle to DAL 28 for 3 yards (K.Coleman).
Plays starts right, Coleman does a real nice job of shocking the OL, extending his arms, and tossing him to force JJ to cut back, makes the tackle too. Glover holds his ground, flows left, then gets a piece as he cuts back. Ware avoids the cut again, and gets a piece when the back comes back to him. Ellis gets blocked. Dat gets a piece.

2-7-DAL28 (6:41) K.Warner pass to B.Johnson to DAL 24 for 4 yards (D.Ware).
All three DL doubled. Ware makes play in coverage, not bad. BJ flowed to the ball.

3-3-DAL24 (5:57) K.Warner pass incomplete to L.Fitzgerald.
Nickle d, vs 3 wide. Really like the personel on here. Burnett and Nyugen Blitz, Burnett beats the RBs block as warner throws. Canty and Glover at DT, Ware at RE, Ellis at LE. Roy up on the TE. No one on the Line did much. Ware stoned. Good coverage by Newman.

4-3-DAL24 (5:57) N.Rackers 41 yard field goal is GOOD, Center-N.Hodel, Holder-S.Player.


1-10-DAL18 (5:47) D.Bledsoe pass incomplete to J.Jones (G.Hayes).
Honestly, not a bad job by the Oline. Okeafor and Berry end up hitting bledsoe, but he delivered the ball. Jones just dropped it, should of been about a 5 yard gain.

Good protection, left TE in to help. Guess everyone was covered because Bledsoe just threw it away.

Good protection, no where to go with the ball again. Quickest possesion ever.

Great punt. Actually kicked it over the returner's head after driving him back 15 yards!

PENALTY on ARZ-L.Fitzgerald, Offensive Pass Interference, 10 yards, enforced at ARZ 28 - No Play.
Newman had great coverage on the play. Hip to hip with Fitz and had his head on the ball the whole play. Ware did a real good job beating Davis to the inside and swiping at Warner's arm as he threw.

1-20-ARI18 (5:05) J.Arrington left end to ARZ 25 for 7 yards (K.Coleman). FUMBLES (K.Coleman), recovered by ARZ-J.Bridges at ARZ 31. J.Bridges to ARZ 31 for no gain (A.Henry).
3-4 against 3 wide. Ware head up on TE, strong side. Didn't do anything, never located the ball or defeat the block. Got caught peeking inside, allowed arrington to get to the outside. BJ, great job going parralel, makes initial contact with arrington, ROy torpedoes JJ and I believe causes the fumble and a minor injury to JJ. Nice play.

2-7-ARI31 (4:39) K.Warner pass incomplete to A.Golliday (D.Nguyen).
PENALTY on DAL-D.Nguyen, Defensive Pass Interference, 7 yards, enforced at ARZ 31 - No Play.
PI on Dat, not much else.

3-4 against twins left. Ware on WR. Didn't do much. Glover at the point, solid. Ellis turns it toward the middle. Both Middle backers get in on tackle. Dat does a real good job taking on the FB and making the tackle. Exactly what he needs to do.

2-8-ARI40 (3:50) K.Warner pass to J.Scobey to ARZ 41 for 1 yard (A.Henry, B.James).
3-4 vs 3 wide. Ware rushing got caught deciding whether to rush or pick the back up who warner ended up dumping it to. He will be more decisive. BJ flows to the ball once again. This guy is going to be great this year in this defense.

3-7-ARI41 (3:03) K.Warner pass to C.Lee to ARZ 44 for 3 yards (A.Henry).
Nickle vs 3 wide. Ware didn't really do much. Canty and Ellis ran a loop. Canty came free but it was thrown as he did. Burnett had great coverage on the TE. Henry had great coverage on the crossing route.

4-4-ARI44 (2:19) S.Player punts 39 yards to DAL 17, Center-N.Hodel. A.Merritt to DAL 27 for 10 yards (Q.Harris).
Merrit doesn't impress me as a returner.

Quick drop, should have been a completion but BJ dropped it. Newman had good coverage. Ware covered the TE in the flat well. Both Middle blitzed and were picked up.

3 man rush, no pressure. Ware covered the TE and stopped at the curl. Passed him off to roy, ball completed in that window. Roy hit the TE as soon as he caught it. Tip hat to TE for hanging on.

4-3 d. Carson came on, BJ off. Coleman, again, dominant at the point of attack. Good seperation, sheds blocker, makes tackle. Textbook. Ware was head up on TE away from play, shed blocker and scraped backside.

2-9-DAL43 (11:26) K.Warner pass to B.Johnson to DAL 31 for 12 yards (A.Henry).
3-4 - Quick 3 step drop slant to BJ. Seemed like Henry was expecting a deeper route. not much else. Thought Ware had Davis beat, showed good quicks. 5 step drop, and he might of had something.

1-10-DAL31 (10:47) K.Warner pass to L.Fitzgerald for 31 yards, TOUCHDOWN.
Tell you what, Ware was playing over the TE in the 3-4. He shocked the TE, impeded his progress, then just shot at Warner and blasted him as he threw. If he just let the TE go a split second sooner, bam. Everyone has seen the play after that.


1-10-DAL19 (10:34) D.Bledsoe sacked at DAL 9 for -10 yards (C.Okeafor). FUMBLES (C.Okeafor), recovered by DAL-R.Petitti at DAL 9. R.Petitti to DAL 9 for no gain (C.Okeafor). This one was on Rivera, not as much Petiti. Rivera got bull rushed right into Bledsoe and he couldn't step into a throw he wanted to make. This was not Bledsoes fault either. At the end of his 5 step drop, he wanted to throw it, but Docket had his and up in his face where he wanted to throw it. Docket then Grabbed him and then Chiki. Petiti didn't do a bad job, if Rivera didn't get blown up, the ball would have been gone. Everyone else on the line did their job.

2-20-DAL9 (9:56) A.Thomas right end to DAL 9 for no gain (D.Dockett).
I right vs. 4-3 stack, with the TE covered. weak side dt loop right into the play, both backers filled, back side oL couldn't do anything. More guys to the play side than we could block, this is one that maybe the Cowboys weren't prepared for. I think in season, the play might have been checked to a weakside run.

3-20-DAL9 (9:15) D.Bledsoe pass to A.Thomas to DAL 14 for 5 yards (A.Wilson, K.Dansby).
Little screen. Rivera pulled, as did Gurode. Rivera got a block, gurode just ran, as per usual. He is bad. Can't imagine Johnson being worse.

Everyone did a decent job playside, even Tucker got his block. Barber has to beat the corner and it is a big play. Rolled is physical.

Had a counter to the right, Peterman and Vollers pulled. Play blown up by Al johnson missing not 1 but 2 blocks. Walter got his guy, Tucker actually scooped and blew up a LB. Vollers could of also been called for holding on the play.

After thouroughly evaluating the first half, this is what is jumping out at me.

Brady James is a stud.

Chris Canty is a stud.

Burnett is going to be a stud.

Coleman is really going to help us.

Rivera played really well, except for the one sack. Didn't miss a block. Same with LA.

McBriar may be All Pro this year. WOW. (Never thought i would say that about a punter).

Ware has a lot to learn but He did flash the raw talent. He will be making big plays come week 1, IMO.

Dat was surprisingly very good in the 3-4. Our MLBs are going to be very active.

Nothing to take away from your play by play look, but Romo was slow in throwing the ball. Watch Crayton slow down to catch the ball, and the reason rolle caught up. But having said that, if that wasn't Rolle and truly a 2nd team CB, it would have been a TD.
