I'd be shocked if we kept 10 offensive linemen. We'll keep 9. That's why Parcells likes players that can play more then one position on the OL, so that he doesn't have to keep that many. It opens up another roster spot.


Pretty intersting trying to figure this out though. Parcells is gonna have some tough decisions to make.

Very difficult decison here letting Ratliff go. That final spot will either be Ratliff or Johnson. We only kept 7 defensive linemen when we ran a 4-3, so I doubt we keep MORE while running a 3-4 (which uses less DL).

That's 24 defensive players. I think Parcells will try to keep it even at 25/25, plus the kicker, Punter, and snapper (53 total) so I'd have to remove an offensive player and add a defensive player (probably another CB).


Unless, of course, Parcells decides Pierce can handle the deep snapping, then he'll cut Robinson. That would open up another spot for a defensive player.

Good choices with a few corrections: BP will take Pierce as a 4th TE, so one of the OL is gone. I'd take Reese over Lyn Scott and my man Fowler gets in over O'Neil. Also, Ratliff and Johnson will make the team unless Leo C. really steps up...

I know he is our LS, but he has been used at TE, mostly scoring TD's inside the 10 yardline. Don't act as if he hasn't or can't play TE.

I would keep Pierce over Ryan. Ryan has been injured far too long with little playing time while Pierce has done well. BP keeping 4 TE's wouldn't surprise me though, considering how much he likes those 2 TE sets.
