Next game is our dress rehearsal so this entire week the best starting 5 will be working together.
Still believe Parcells is going to rotate these guys?

They both have pro and cons, albeit in different areas. Johnson played better this week - I didn't see him get blown up any like he does against other teams. That being said, I am unimpressed with the DL for Seattle. We'll know more next week.

I believe Al Johnson will get the nod as starter but we'll see a lot of Gurode too. I wouldn't expect to see a perfect 50/50 rotation, but I bet BP does use Gurode judicially especially against the bigger 3-4 type nose tackles.

I agree Austin...
Gurode has the edge in the 3-4 battles...
Parcells is right, Johnson is just too light...No push in the running game...
I like Gurode better now...But they might rotate?

What puzzles me is that Parcells seems to like Gurode better because he is bigger and stronger. Well, if Parcells was set on having a center that was bigger and stronger than Al Johnson then why the heck did Parcells pick Johnson with the 38th pick in the 2003 draft? We could have gotten talent at another position. Plus, Gurode was already on the roster. We could have brought in a free agent.
This just seems like a huge mix up on Parcells part. He changed Gurode to guard, spent a very high draft pic on Johnson to replace Gurode and now thinks Johnson is too small and wants to move Gurode back. It's just a waste.
