We're almost a month away from TC and I haven't heard squat about the supplemental draft or Mike Williams/M. Clarett's status.
Is there a date that the draft is annually held around, or is this something that's planned and then held like Friday Night Kegger?
What's the dealie?

At this point there is not one planned. I wonder when the ruling will come down for Clarett and Williams? Actually Williams may be excluded since he is now plannign to go back to USC. It will have to happen before Training camp.

Every year, over 200 players are picked in the NFL Draft. There have been a total of 32 players taken overall in the previous 26 supplemental drafts.
Supplemental drafts occur at varying times, but usually in the summer. There was one during the 2002 season, which was unique. There have been multiple drafts in the same year -- they had four of them in 1985.
Instead of over 400 players to choose from, usually there is only a handful. Sometimes, there are none.
Teams can opt to not make a pick if they so desire.
There's no glitz or glamour. There's no commissioner's podium (or commissioner). There's no jersey-holding, no green room, no TV coverage and no media session.

Tony Hollings from GT is a stud- I watched him in ACC country and he is the real deal-
He was leading the nation in rushing before he tore his acl- would be a good pick up in the 2nd round and a great pick up in the 3rd round- which we dont have- if he lasts till the 4th round than we would grab him but he wont .............so unlesssssss we trade for a 3rd its not going to happen.
This guy is every bit as good as Denvers first round pick this year- BEll or Kevin Jones

Tony Hollings was selected in the second round of the 2003 NFL Supplemental draft by the Houston Texans.

I'm just glad he jumped over to this forum. But I expect that he, and some of the other better posters will post more once training camp gets started.
