I wonder if anyone has lurked around at any of the Texan's sites to see what their thoughts were about the game? That guy who was here a couple of days ago, trolling our board was a punk and talking a lot of crap. He was said to be A PROUD MEMBER OF THE TEXANS BULLPEN.

I'm pretty sure most of their fans are illiterate, so they might not have an actual message board. Or maybe they have one that uses pictures, like the cash registers at fast food restaurants. ;)

My guess...
"Did you guys see the hits the Dallas secondary was putting on our WR's? That hard hitting should be outlawed in pre-season I think. I mean really. Its just a pre-season game. Why all the hard stuff? I mean who does Roy Williams think he is giving Andre speghetti arms like that? Thats just wrong. Why ruin a good guys confidence? And who is this Keith Davis? Whats got him all jacked like that? I dont know. I pretty much respected the Cowboys before lastnights game. But they showed up like they wanted to really smack someone. Why all the big plays? Sheesh!"

I have been to one where they blame the hump in the field at Texas Stadium for Carr's struggles.
Incredible.

Here are a few quotes from their board.
We Wuz Hosed
Tony Banks did not fumble the ball, he was trying to throw it away to avoid sack at best loss of down for intentional grounding, but I have already emailed Mike Pereira Head of NFL officials and detailed down and distance time on clock. He like Jerry Seeman will be honest and admit they made mistakes and advise nothing that will change outcome. But at least he will call in Ron Winter and crew and counsel him
7. Our front 7 dominated the Cowboy Oline much of the game. The Cowboys caught us in a couple of blitzes late in the first half. However, the Jones touchdown was a result of CC Brown's inexperienced play.
16. D. Ware isn't as good as his hype- at least not yet.
Here is the link to the board.

lol, I hear ya... in defense of the Texans, every time we looked to throw long I saw that freakin CB #41 Terence Newman covering us like white on rice. Is he always that good or did he just have a good game against us?

As funny as that sounds, remember when they blamed Favre's struggle on our field on the same thing? The Green Bay brass blamed the high crown rather than give credit to our defense. Go figure.

You know what I remember most about the game last night? We SHOULD have scored alot more points.
2 field goals
We had the ball on their 20 or so at the very end of the game and laid down...4 straight running plays just to simply run out the clock. The Cowboys could have scored there if they had wanted to.
I don't worry or really care what the Texans fans or their players think. They wouldn't give the Cowboys any credit if their lives depended on it.
The only comment I heard on the radio is about what a dump Texas Stadium is. I wanted to call in and tell them that yea 35 year old stadiums tend to get run down. Kind of like the Dome is a dump now. But we'll have our new stadium in a few years and that talk will end because I do believe we will have the best stadium in the league. I guess then Reliant will be the "dump" in Texas. :star:

My, my little boy does your mother know you are so hateful. Your team beat my team. I admit that. I am giving no excuses. Our 1st string Offense played terrible. Our 2nd string D was just as bad. I wish you well in the coming season. I am still proud to be an original member of the TEXANS BULLPEN, just as I am sure you are proud to be full of bull.

It will be a rivalry when Cowboy fans run off to sign up for their message boards and post.
It currently clearly isn't.
We post Easgles/Skin/49er news on the main board regularly because folks seem to care; the Texans get mentionned the preseason week we play them.

Yeah, every time we played them in the playoffs they brought that up. Favre would overthrow his first 5 or 6 passes because he was so emotionally jacked up and the announcers would talk about the crown in the field.
Thing is, every artificial turfed field I have been around was crowned to some extent. They have to be or else they will have puddles in the middle of them when it rains.

The "crown" in Texas Stadium is the same for the Cowboys QB as it is for the opposition. The Cowboys don't practice there so anybody saying that caused defeats is just making excuses. How lame.
