Question on how much to play Spears

Lets assume for the sake of this post that Spears is healthy enough to play and playing a lot or a little will not effect his injury.
Do you think Parcells should play Spears only a little, 10-15 plays just to get him a bit of playing time and seeing the speed of the pro game and play Spears like that early in the season until his in-game conditioning comes around or....
Do you have Spears suck it up and learn a tough lesson and play him 3 quarters+ against J-ville to see how he reacts, but possibly with the risk he wears himself out (not injury wise, just conditioning) for the early part of the year?

That is my answer. BUT, it won't wear him out for the early part of the year.
He will have plenty of rest before San Deigo.

I personally hope Spears gets a full dose of plays. I'm also hoping to see more of Beriault.
