has anyone heard from asthmafield?

i'm wondering if anyone has heard from our friend asthmafield? i sent him a personal message asking if he was really going to ride the storm out on sunday. he replied he indeed was........ thinking by the time it reached hattiesburg it would just be a little wind and rain. anyway, i hope that is the case but it looks to me like mississippi caught all kinds of hell. i haven't seen him on here since, hopefully it is due to power outages and nothing major.

Good call, Lane. Riding it out... That's scary. I hope he's all right. Even if he is, we may not find out for quite a while.

Same goes for Manster68. He works at the Naval station (I believe that's the branch) in, IIRC, Gulfport. He posted here that he was evacuating, but I hope he and his family are okay as well.

Hattiesburg just got water back. Going by other places I've lived in that had that kind of damage from hurricanes, it will probably be at least a week or two until they start getting power.
