I don't care if you like QC, Testaverde (I guess he's counted out here), Henson, Romo or Chutch. In your opinion, are any of those players listed going to be our Starter for the next 10 years?

Is it QC ?
Henson dies he bloom and become a stud maybe ?
Romo from small time school to MVP status maybe ?
That is the Million dollar question with no answer yet. I guess we will find out in 10 years

Drew Henson I think is the best chance for right now for this team to develope a true franchise QB. I think his skills do surpass anyone on this team based on seeing all of them in the college ranks. Henson brings the ideal size that teams look for, he has a very strong arm and has decent mobility

Simple answer do not know for the simple reason we have not seen what Drew can do and Quincy has only had 1 full year IMO to prove he is the future

We already got that Iraq.
And I really don't care who y'all think it is, just want to know if he is on the roster. BTW, of course there is no way to know if the Starter is here but that's why I asked for y'alls "opinion."

I think it is safe to say that the team and fans hope so. I personally think Drew Henson is that guy but will admit at this point we do not know for sure. I look forward to finding out. I'd hate to think we might have 10 more years of QB insecurity. I'll go out on a limb and say yes, Drew Henson is our starter for at least 10 years. That means he'll be here until he's 35 or 36. I hope at that time we've groomed his replacement.

Now see, this is exactly the path that I don't want to see this thread go down.
RW-You and Iraq have had this battle on many a different threads. Why not just keep it there? If you want to say which QB you think it is, fine you might as well post it but there is no need to knock somebody else's choice.
Not a knock on any QB or any poster, I just want to see the answer and that is all.

I hope so, that way we can address other areas of need over the next ten seasons instead of playing musical quarterbacks like we have since Aikman retired. I never want the 'Boys to turn into the Bengals who have searched and searched since Boomer left.

I believe he is but, I have no proof I can offer to confirm this.

Gulp. I have to swallow hard here and agree with CowboyNIRAQ, I don't see QC getting cut. He is too cheap for a starting option.

I hope so. I'd like it to be Carter because it means he plays well this year and the team likely does very well. But if it isnt Carter hopefully it can be Henson because he would be next in line to get a shot. If it isnt either of those than hopefully Romo.

I have to agree....and if it is not one of those guys....then bring on the next guy.
I would have to say no,since we have no blocking ,no running game and receivers that can't catch along with a front office working against the Qb's.From all I have heard no one can last ten years here

I think a lot will depend if Carter wins the job, I know some have already handed the job to him but I do not think it is a sure thing that Carter does win the job. However I do not think Dallas will not cut or try to trade him until after the this season. I don't think Dallas will wait until the final year of his contract to make up their minds. I think Carter has to win the job and do so convincingly and once the season starts up for real I think he has to show a lot of improvement and consistantcy in his play. If he turns in the same jeckle and hyde show once again then I would expect him to be gone. Like it or not I do think this is a do or die season for Carter.

yes we do. QC and Henson both are very talented, in very different ways. Both of them can be outstanding, and i hope to god that one of them becomes outstanding for the Dallas Cowboys.
