Terence Newman was picked fifth overall in 2003 to be the shutdown corner the Dallas Cowboys had lacked since Deion Sanders was in his prime. Like with Sanders, teams take their chances and throw away from Newman, who had four interceptions last season.
Newman was rated the fastest corner and was tied for first in agility and acceleration. Terence was rated in the elite category and the ratings prove that you can see the dropoff from he and Vincent. Scouts said he will be in the probowl in the not to distant future.
