Any thoughts of signing this guy after week one are over. From ESPN (http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=pasquarelli_len&id=2154159&CMP=OTC-DT9705204233)

The New York Jets have added a much-needed insurance policy at right offensive tackle, signing 10-year veteran Scott Gragg to a one-year contract. It is believed the contract is for the minimum base salary of $765,000.

Gragg, 33, was arguably the top offensive tackle still in the market, after having been cut by the San Francisco 49ers earlier in the spring. Last week, Gragg told ESPN.com that he definitely wanted to play in 2005, had been in contact with several teams, and hoped to have a deal in place sometime early in the season.

In recent weeks, Gragg had spoken with Dallas, Detroit and New Orleans, and the Saints indicated he was in their plans for 2006, possibly as a starter.
