that a couple of weeks ago that he thought that the team was beginning to show some mental toughness and resolve. He went on to say that this toughness would help get us over the hump in a couple of games this year. Game 1 was won on that mental resolve that he was speaking of. This game will go a long way for us in the future, because games like this would have been lost with that "here we go again attitude". Now we have that "Prove it" attitude that was displayed today. The fact that we didn't fold after that 4th and 14 shows we have some balls this year.

Hope to hear from PittDawg after he talks to his son, love to hear him share some player insights.

While I know being 1-0 means nothing in the overall scheme of things, it is far better than being 0-1.

You are right about the balls comment. Last year in the Pittsburgh game, we could have stopped them for FG after the fumble and gone to ot but our defence couldn't stop anyone so we ended up giving up the TD.

Overall we made plays when it counted and I expect for us to not be in that position in about 4 weeks, especially when the rooks stop the mental errors and can just play and react.

Speaking of mental toughness, I read that Pittawg was in one of the towers on 9/11.
