In the preseason, the Skins threw the ball almost 37 times a game... only the Faiders threw it more often...
Then come Opening Day, they threw the ball all of 25 times...
Has Gibbs lost his cojones, or was he less than satisfied by what he saw from his passing game in preseason??
Now that he's going with Brunell as his starter, it sure looks like conservative game plans will be the norm rather than the exception...

If they stay conservative like it appears they will,I see a whole lot of the New and Improving Doomsday Defense in Brunell's face all game long!:skins: :suxskins:

i hope they throw it 37 times against us.....that means we'll be ahead and it takes portis out of the game...

The Redskins have a very good defense. I sure hope we don't take this one lightly and blow it.
This isn't going to be a cake walk. We aren't that good and their defense isn't that bad.
Focus.

We'll get a steady diet of Portis and Santana Moss this week.

Exactly...
I think we have enough new players that haven't experienced our recent dominance over the 'skins to thwart any overconfidence... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v628/cowboyszone/crossed_fingers.gif
