The New Orleans Saints-New York Giants game, originally scheduled for the Louisiana Superdome on Sunday, will be played on Monday night at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., beginning at 7:30 p.m. ET. ABC will televise the game until the 9 p.m. ET start of the Washington at Dallas game. At that time, the Saints-Giants telecast will switch to ESPN in most markets. The New York, Louisiana and selected hurricane-affected areas will see the Giants-Saints game to its conclusion on ABC before joining the Washington-Dallas game. The beginning of Dallas-Washington will be on ESPN in those markets until the conclusion of the Saints-Giants game.

Nice. I think originally they had planned on Saints Giants on both stations. Congrats to those in affected areas.

Easy, instead of the game switching form ABC to ESPN, you start Dallas on ESPN and switch to ABC.
So turn on ESPN at 9pm EST and youll see Dallas Washington

Dude, I hope and pray you are correct on this. Just got Season Ticket this year and would be MAJORLY PISSED if for whatever reason I only got to watch part of the game.

For Boysfan and TheFuture -
I also confirmed this with a call to the NFL public relations department. I spoke with Matt and he assured me this whole issue was worked out.
So ESPN will definitely have the game on at 9pm est and as soon as the Giants/Saints game ends it will switch to ABC.

Thanks ParcellsGuy.
I know I was sweating it out. Although I have to admit I won't fully believe it until Monday at 9PM and I'm watching the game.

I also heard this on the news today! Thank God!!!!!!! This week just keeps getting better and better - knock on wood! The Cowboys with an awesome win, my 2 fantasy teams win because McFlabb and Philly's defense didn't do enough to outscore my fantasy teams on Monday, and the Eagles lost outright to boot!!! Now I get confirmation that I'll be able to see the Cowboys spank the Skins!!! Oh happy day!

Let's face it, the Cowboys are a huge draw. Ii read yesterday about the Chargers game being such a huge Neilson rating, actually dwarfing the MNF game, even though it was only available in limited areas, compared to MNF. The Cowboys/Redskins MNF game in 2000, two losing teams, actually destroyed the World Series game it went up against ratings wise. The Cowboys are a huge draw, and program managers would lose their jobs if they didn't find a way to show them.

I would be interested to see the ratings head to head. Cowboys v.s. Redskins on MNF outdrew a Yankees Mets Subway series game in 2000, Nationally.

I say let 'em put the game on ESPN, and keep it on ESPN...
That way, I could watch it in hi-def... :D
