ABC will show it in bits and pieces after halftime, from what I understand.

How friggin' disrespectful. Millions tuned in during the triplets prime and ABC got killer ratings when our 'Boys are on. Now we don't even rate a few minutes of a halftime show? Now we get fed piece by piece like starving carp down at the pond eating stale day old popcorn?

SO the triplets are more improant to see get inducted to a team owned honor, instead of a relief effort for the victoms of hurrica katrina.
PLease if JJ was smart he would move this to the thanksgiving game, and give us more fire to win, unless he's scared we might lose, and so he decided to do this on a team in which we so call "own" to me it's more disrespectful for them to get inducted against a team in which JJ knows will beat compared to them being inducted in game in which we will have to fight to win.
just my two cents

I like the idea of moving it to Thanksgiving. Except its probably too late, its probably all set up.
Even though they arent going to raise a whole bunch in a 10 minute telethon, every bit helps.
But I also think that if someone hasnt donated already, they wont all of the suuden bc of a half time show. And Im sure the people who did donate gave as much as they can.

Gimme a break. This hurriucane stuff has been crammed down the throat of everyone every day for over 2 weeks now. There have already been countless relief efforts and fund drives and so on. Anyone who wanted to contribute probably has. The impact of those 12 minutes during halftime of our game won't make any difference in the big picture. Gimme the triplets and I'll write a bigger check. Can you dig that??????

Not everyone feels that way, go down to the astrodome and tell those people without homes, what you just said, and tell me what they said.

Listen, every one of us that can give has given. I think we all feel their pain.
Now let me escape the sad reality of life and reflect on something that makes me happy. This is football, its entertainment.

per Spags:
Jimmy More, Dallas: With the Katrina relief efforts during halftime of the Monday night game between the Cowboys and Redskins, will there be an alternate way to see the Ring of Honor ceremony?
Mickey: None that if know of on Friday afternoon. ABC has exclusive rights to the broadcast - which means halftime, too - so no TV station is allowed to carry the ceremony, even the NFL Network as I understand. Now you will have tape-delay alternatives. We are working at DallasCowboys.com to get the ceremony up as soon as possible - maybe at some time in the second half, but for sure by Tuesday morning. Also, for those people who subscribe to Comcast Cable in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, they will be able to access the ceremony through Video On Demand by some time on Tuesday. At this point, that's the best I can suggest. But who knows what might change over the weekend.

i never said that people havent, been then there are some that havent, and maybe it might get them to, i understand where your coming from, BUT there are always two sides of the coin, so instead of getting mad we should understand it aint cheap rebuilding a city.

And interupting 12 minutes of a halftime show isn't gonna make a damn bit of difference.
