Why ask about Price? What about Fujita?

We here on the boards, and the media have been asking, "When will Price see some action?"

Right now, I don't think we need to worry about that.....Crayton is doing fine.

So, why doesn't the media ask the more important question?

When will Scott Fujita be ready to play some at ROLB? I would really like to see him there. He has the potential to be a fine OLB in the 3-4 scheme.

I'm anxious to know how he's doing. How's he picking up the system? When will we see him?

I have a feeling we won't be seeing Price or Fujita until the Oakland game, at the soonest. They joined the team after camp, and it's going to be very difficult for them to grasp the playbook and the playing style of the Cowboys.

Price will battle Glenn for the #3 WR spot, when he is active. I can assure you Crayton will be the #2 WR by the Oakland game.

Fujita should be battling Singleton for the ROLB spot, my estimate is he wins. Fujita was the best defensive player on a weak defensive side of the ball for 2 years in Kansas City. Now don't expect the same here, we have too much potentional. But do expect him to be the starter for this year, unless Burnett can beat him out.

Thought Fujita played ST last week, but he should be more up to speed on the D this week.

I won't expect much of an impact by him for at least 4 more weeks. He's learning a totally new scheme with unfamiliar players. Gonna take awhile for him to adjust.

Excellent point and I couldn't agree more! I would love to see Fujita take over for Singleton and provide the much needed size at that LB spot! We need a big, physical presence opposite Ware and hopefully, Fujita can provide that.....

I wouldn't call in ineptness. More of a lack of talent. I would suspect Singleton knows his job as well as anyone out there.

Anytime James has a game and isn't directly responsible for a 60+ yard TD run, I am pleased with his performance.

Everyone is predicting Burnett to ILB, but, to my knowledge, he hasn't even practiced there yet. Might be a next year thing once he has a chance to bulk up a bit.

From what I've seen in pre-season and the SD game (and I record and study every play in detail) Singleton reacts very slowly to running plays.



His coverage skills are down right "atrocious" - I don't think he's sorry, but I think we should see what Fujita has.



As for James, I like nothing about him (once again from what I’ve studied)



He consistently gets caught up in traffic, and does not know when a guard is coming out to block him. He's not a good blitzer (like Dat) and we just need an up grade there for real.

I just want to slowly see what we have in Fujita - I already know what Price can do, he put up numbers when he had a throwing QB.
