This team is far from good right now. We won a game we probably shouldn't have last week and lost a game we probably should have won this week. I expect about the same for most of the year.

Offensively, the big problem is that our best player is Julius. Bledsoe is mediocre at best and the same can be said for the receiving core and the OL. When teams stack up against the run there is no room for Julius to run and Bledsoe and the receivers can't make the defense pay consistently. The sad part is the offense isn't likely to get better anytime soon as most of the core players are old and on the decline.

I guess the bright side will ultimately be the defensive side of the ball. We made a few mistakes out there, especially at the end of the game with several misplayed coverages but the potential in guys like Ware, Spears, Canty, RoyW, TNew and AHenry is obvious.

Agreed, especially since we barely beat a team (San Diego) that were whooped so handily by a team (Denver) this week that were handed their heads by a team(Miami) last week.

This is why everyone's so worked up, we thought this was a playoff caliber team - obviously it isn't.
