Beyond the failure of our receivers to make it beyond the yard sticks and our failure to cover Moss on 3 occassions, the things I thought will haunt the Boys were:

1. 1 Missed easy chip shot FG.
2. 1 Failed Opportunity to get a field goal at the end of the half.
3. Allowing 14 seconds to run off on the final Washington punt. If the Cowboys get the same type of reception, we may have been able to try a field goal.
4. On the next to last drive, throwing the ball on 2nd and 8. BP nearly always runs in that situation. Why not then. Of course, the next play was our failure of our receivers to get beyond the sticks.

Still, it was entertaining and a good game. I just wish the Boys would have been in a true prevent in that last drive by the skins!

That roughing penalty on Glover was horsesh*t.

A "chip shot" from 41 yards?

You're confusing possessions. The second-and-8 pass was on our third-to-last drive, and the next play was Adams' holding penalty that wiped out Keyshawn's 17-yard catch for a first down at the Redskins' 37.

On our second-to-last drive, we had second-and-4. And Crayton WAS beyond the sticks for a first down when he got hit and dropped the ball.

I agree bbgun, that is why we only got the back of the endzone shot on the replay. Brunells head didn't even move when he was hit. That freaking killed us. Instead of punting from their endzone, they were allowed to move the ball down the field!! :bang2:

Adam, your right, I stand corrected on the possession thing. I thought the FG attempt was from 37, but it is late, and I am probably incorrect. Nonetheless, Cortez still should make a 41 yarder.
