- Did it hurt? Yes
- Does it still hurt? Yes, but it should be subsiding
- 4th and 1 Emmitt Stuffed in Philly..Switzer gets ripped....looks like the sky is falling - We don't lose another game the rest of the way - including the Super Bowl - Get over it - the players better not be crying in their Creatine...this is where Parcells needs to coach - needs to motivate - this is where a Vet QB and Vet WR - SuperBowl winner Keyshawn Johnson need to call a players meeting and explain it's game 2 - not 16.
- As a board - lets move on...we know we're better than the Skins -it happens, it's Pro Sports....even the Red Sox get lucky every 86 years.
- All Eyes on SF - All Business - All Cowboys - 21-10

Scott is just means the media was wrong. The rivialry is not dead. Its OK. We hate the skins. They hate us. We didn't loss the SB, but we lost to the deadskins, the worst smelling, worst playing, worst coached, worst owned, worst....... well you get the point. The are just the worst......

On the road in the NFL is not easy and don;t get so uppity..we won 6 games last season...Who the hell are we?
But like your attitude...you expect to win as do I!

Just heard on NFL Network that Julian Peterson gauranteed a win vs the Boys. They're mad, the Boys are mad.....let's get ready to rumble :D
I was sick Tuesday, but I feel better today. Does really suck to feel like they lost on basically 2 or 3 plays.

Huh. Who's acting like they lost the Super Bowl? We played the Redskins. Haven't they started 2-0 the past 3 years?
We are going to run one up on San Fran - Blowout win!

So, you are saying we win 14-10? Or is it a 10-7 blowout? :p:

Dude, it was a devastating loss to a hated rival. We're allowed to mourn and overreact.

i hope the hangover translates to a greater sense of urgency to step on the throat of an inferior team and keep grinding until they breathe their last raspy wheeze.
we dropped the ball.
a road thrashing of san fran would be an excellent place to pick it back up.

Gotta love all these Skins fans showing up after the fact. You still gotta win about 14 more to make this even a rivalry again.
Im with Chuck Cooperstein. I think we end this upcoming road trip with 2 wins because I just think we have a better team then even I expected.
I mean seriously, I was just as PO'ed as everyone else but honestly, if we had shut those guys out like we should have, everyone would have been stoked and I dont see anyone walking away with any real concerns.
Seriously, not being a homer, but I really think Washington is in alot of trouble this year. I just dont think Brunell has it in him to keep doing what he did Monday.
Now if we lose to San Francisco, I will start worry and will actually go on record and say it will probably be Parcells' last year.
Until then, were 1-1 and just about everyone looks great, including Roy Will.

Just admit you guys stole one game, just like we stole one from you last year. I gurantee you it doesnt happen again.
Like I said, this aint even a rival down here.
Now that's what folks down here in Texas call the Truth.
Bless your heart...

Scott,
Gotta ask this question. Is that you, THE Scott Case or are you related to him?
No offense, I just wouldn't think the average fan would pick Scott as his username since he had a somewhat undistinguished career as a Cowboy.
But boy, he could bring the WOOD!! He had some nice hits in SB XXX!

Haha - no I am not Scott Case - and I'm not the average fan - Scott Case had the biggest tackle of that SuperBowl against Pittsburgh : A shoe string tackle on Bam Morris on a either a delayed draw or Screen - I forget, but there was nobody left to make the tackle but him....he doesn't make it, I'd say we'd have lost or been in deep shizz.

Trying to remember that play. I'll look for it next time I watch the DVD.
What was the score at that time?
You know thinking about it now, that SB was somewhat like the game Monday Night. Controlled the game, but never put them away and they had the ball and could have taken the lead in the last few minutes of the game.
If you think the Monday Night loss was bad can you imagine if we would have lost a SB in that fashion? Perish the thought!! :)

I am confident about this team this year but before we start throwing bouquets at how they will bounce back off this loss I want to actually see it. I want to see how/if a young team handles a loss like that. I'm sorry, but it has to be a blow to some of the young guys. This is where guys like Keyshawn and Bledsoe have to earn their money. If we go out and play so-so and win 13-10 at SF I'm going to be very concerned. If this team wants to convince me and many others that they've put Monday night behind them go out and blow the 49ers out like you should. And I don't care if we were 6-10 last year. We have a lot more talent and playmaking ability on this team so something like a 28-10 win over a clearly inferior team should not be too much to ask if this team is truly a contender.
