Thompson on Returns.

I really liked what i saw of this kid returning kicks the other night. He has great burst and didn't waste time getting up field. My question is, why aren't we using him on punt returns. Crayton is not scaring anyone back there.

It's a bit different catching a punt then it is catching a kickoff. Plus, the defenders are usually already right up on you when you catch a punt. Parcells wants someone he knows won't get "Big Eyes" in that situation. I agree with him.

Crayton may not be scaring anyone, but he hasn't had great blocking either.
