GOOD news is that the Defense only gave up 7 pts

Clearly, some adjustments which were made were successful.

That said, I think our Defense has a ways to go.

We clearly need a FS with coverage ability who doesn't blow assignments.

But it was nice seeing our LBs coming up with 2 INTS. And it was great seeing Ware come up with his first sack as well.

I'm not sure what else BP can do quicken the maturity of this defense this year. I'm sure some of the young guys will improve, but we need time and a couple of players still.

Not with Henry, he's not very fast for a CB. He was consistently beat off the line and was not being very physical on the line. I think we need to do exactly what we are now, only try to cheat a lil to Henry's side on third an longs........I also think Pile did a fine job, once he replaced Davis.....dont know if that will continue, but its not a bad idea!

in the fourth quarter it was nice to finally see Roy playing the ball from behind the receiver....Safeties don't run with receivers or chase them...they should be deeper and then play the ball...he made a nice play today.

We finally quit trying to match up with their 3 WR sets with our standard 3-4 which was killing us. In the 4th quarter we went to the nickel. Thank God!
