View Full Version : Bills Fans On Rampage

The Bills fans are just about to hang JP Losman from the goalposts. His team mates are critical of him, he sits alone. I wonder if they would take Drew back now and let JP be his backup!!
The old adage "The grass is always greener" is something Bills fans are learning the hard way!!

I don't look on their message boards, but I would think it could get ugly now that Takeo Spikes is lost for the season.

I was reading through old Bledose prediction threads last night and I saw one predicting that the Bills would win the Super Bowl now that they've jettisoned "old man" Bledsoe.
How's that prediction looking now? :lmao2:

I've only looked at a few, but the most valid point brought up is that Drew would probably be getting killed behind their line this year anyway.
Which of course begs the question why did Buffalo use the draft picks to get Losman, and not to shore up their O-line, but that's for another board....

It's nice to rub it in to them, but being realistic, it is more about how bad Losman is doing as opposed to what Bledsoe is doing here. That kid is just not a good QB, period.

Is that really happening? I know he had the rep in college of being so cocky that his teammates really didn't like him.
I saw his 1st game on the NFL ticket. Looked solid and had a good game ?
Oh well, I guess consistancy is important too.

Losman is simply going through his growing pains. Troy took three years to develop also.
Why are we rooting for the kid to fail??? You guys seem to gloat in his misfortune. He's a young QB who needs time to develop.
The good news for them is the Bills are developing their franchise QB ... while we're sitting on egg shells with another re-tread dinasaur.

Too bad that didn't happen last year so we could have had a higher pick :D
but I'm more than happy with the results :D

I think we had our targets dead set on Spears. Even if the Bills gave us the #10 pick vs the #20 pick, we'd still have wound up with Ware and Spears.

Losman ain't a franchise QB and never will be. Just because you draft a QB in the first round and start him doesn't make him a franchise QB.
The Bills decided to roll with him to see where he could take them this year. They'll make a decision to move on in a year or two if he can't improve.
I thought he looked alright in the first two games, but nothing special. Seems to be working on a small field, a la QC.

Personally I don't care if Loseman becomes a good QB or not, that is Buffalo problem not Dallas. As for Bledsoe he putting up numbers ranked with the top QB's in the league and as far as being on egg shells that is your feeling and not one shared by the Cowboys Drew is doing a damn good job and to say other wise would is rediculas

If you watch the game and his body language, he seems like nothing is his fault. I've seen about a million plays where he just looks at someone and unstraps his chin strap. Just look at him, he looks arrogant.

You play a team twice in the Super Bowl ... and lose both times. One of the losses is a major blowout. In the second one, your "leaders" short-circuit and let a halftime lead get away and you lose handily again.
A few years later, you trade two picks (including a first-rounder) to the same team to move up in the draft to select a quarterback whom you believe is the future of your franchise.
That other team uses those two picks to select a dynamic franchise-type running back and a talented defensive lineman with a bright future.
You waive your starting quarterback because you're sure that the young quarterback you drafted is ready to handle the job.
That same team then picks up your old quarterback and he is playing well for them.
You've never won a Super Bowl, despite having four chances ... in a row. The greatest player in franchise history also happens to be an accused double-murderer.
Must suck to be Buffalo.

I don't think anyone is rooting for him to fail per se, but it sure is funny watching him look as bad as he does. Fans there are actually yelling for Kelly Holcomb of all people. LOL

Just wait until Drew faces a good defense that can get after him. Let's see if you think the same way then.

why do you get so bent out of shape when someone criticizes you. You certainly don't mind laying down a little criticism like you did in you first post in this thread. Go back and take a look at it. At least that was the other poster's opinion. What I've stated is fact: you can't spell and have no idea what punctuation marks are. If you don't like getting corrected, you go find another place to post. Geesh.
BTW, I agree with you. Bledsoe is doing a better job than any of us ever thought he would. When it was announced he was going to be the starter here, I cringed. Now he's posting better numbers than he ever has.

They should have kept them both.

1 Troy aikman a decade happens.
Probably 30 or 40 never develop and fade away.
I see almost no correlation with sucking as a rookie and ending up as good as Troy. I thought Buffalo won with defense and running the ball? eh Miki!

Any team with a young QB is gonna kneejerk one week to the next unless the guy just wins every week.
Would folks be booing Roethlisberger had he QB'd a bad team last season? Probably. Young Qbs get lots of blame or lots of credit neither of which is probably deserved.
I believe Buffalo made a foolish decision because DB was not the problem for them and they were clearly a playoff team once McGahee joined Bledsoe in the backfield last season. It would be different had they gotten something useful in trade but to save a few bucks it was foolish.
For Dallas to trade off that pick (used on Losman) for all they did then sign Bledsoe for peanuts really has to sting Buffalo who is actually led by a usually intelligent GM.
I wonder what Chicago would have traded to Buffalo for Bledsoe right now?
