That we should be thinking about tonight? I haven't had alot of time lately, so I haven't really been able to dive into the 2nd day players.
Any help would be appreciated.

I would also say NAthan Vasher.
He had poor times at his pro day. But they are not truly indicative of this guys speed.
He is a playmaker and a good kid.

Thanks for the input, fellas. Overall, I feel we had a good day. And I'm looking forward to tomorrow.

If we were lucky enough to get Poole in round 4, we might have landed 4 starters for opening day...poole is a physical CB who plays very smart...I'm a huge USC fan, so he's one of the few players I've seen alot of.
He might even be worth giving up that extra #5 to move up for...just a thought.

Why do you guys think that Will Poole has fallen so far? Some had him tabbed for late first didn't they?

We should still be able to land a good player in the 4th.
And with the extra 5th, if can choose to gamble a bit if needed. Guys like Tory Fleming at RB, for example.

character issues before he was at USC. He was clean at USC.

So, what's your expert opinion of Rodgers?

Then I'll agree with Woods, give up the extra fifth to move up and get him! Possibly 4 starters would be fantastic.

I got the impression from Mickey that Will Poole wasn't even on the Cowboys draft board. Evidently, he's got some serious, serious, serious character concerns. Mickey said he talked to someone who went on a long diatribe about some not so very nice things about the kid.

I like that list but would axe the RB and add WR prospects like the two Texas boys BJ Johnson and Sloan Thomas. Also Brandon Kennedy at DT.

Gerry Fraley ran an article in yesterday's DMN which stated Kennedy is expecting to go undrafted.

Kennedy is another good name. Small in height though. Could find a role though. Belichek found a role for that Klecko kid last year. Kennedy is a different player, but could find a niche similar to that.

The names mentioned indicate just how much talent is left. We have three picks in the next two rounds and should come away with some value.
Will Poole
Will Allen
Matthias Askew
Nathan Vasher
DeMarco McNeil
Shaun Phillips
Isaac Hilton
Ernest Wilford
Cedric Cobbs
Chad Lavalais
Isaac Sapoaga
Jason Shivers
PK Sam
These are people who could contribute and there are others mentioned elsewhere in this thread. This is where you can still pick up a potential starter in areas where the draft has been deep. THer is particulalry good value at WR and at DT. Ther are still FS who could cotribute and CB's are still available, albeit in smaller numbers.
