Agree on both accounts. Even in on some key tackles. Here here!

Couldn't agree more! He looked so good his rookie preseason, I thought he was going to be a good one. But then he disappeared so much the last two years, I'd written him off as a washout. But he played lights out today... Maybe this was the game he turns the corner. :)

And he did it without Dat there. He stepped up. I loved it.

I agree but it came at a very good time. I hope he's ready to take his game to the next level. This should improve his confidence.

Agree, today was the first time that I felt we may have something here. He was especially good at the goal line in coverage to prevent a td.

Great take!

I told my friends after the game.....that it was the best I have ever seen James play......hope this was his break out game.

Definately couldn't have come at a better time. I was seriously worried going into this game without Dat back there. Let's hope he keeps it up.

i'll add to this thread - he was very active and i'm no longer quite as convinced our LB corps is mediocre. average maybe, but not mediocre...

I noticed James playing well all season. He is doing great beating blocks to make plays in the run game and today he showed well in pass defense.

I dont think that he will ever go to the probowl but hes certainly going to be better than average. Solid starter action and we need those types in the salary cap era.

The dude is stacked tho he certainly looks the part of a MLB.

I mentioned earlier in the year that IMO Bradie is in the same boat as the rookies. He had the task of starting in a defense that was foreign to him. He has slowly but surely with playing time improved his play this year. Much like the rest of the rookies. Some don't like the fact that I called him a third year rookie, but thats how I see it. This is the time of year that we all expected for the rookie class to turn the corner and just about when I thought JAmes would be comfortable as well. He won't be an asset in coverage but hes making more plays.

our LB corp should never have been considered mediocre, it was more about depth and experience, moreso depth, than anything else, seems we have the depth with Fujita, Shanle and now Burnett, and the experience is coming along
