Your boy played a heck of a game. He owned Kearse from start to finish. Strahan is next!!!

Not to get too far ahead of ourselves, but Rob is quickly becoming my favorite O-lineman.

LA is a legend, but it's a shame that he makes way more huge mental mistakes than a rookie 6th rounder.

Anyway, I hope we can find more guys cut from the Rob Petitti cloth in upcoming drafts. Our line needs an infusion of youth, and to have a kid step up as quickly as Rob has is a true blessing!

Yeah the eagles were the team that everybody was worried about because of our question mark at RT going into this season, looks like Rob passed that one with flying colors

I rewatched the first 2 quarters and Rob was unreal.

What a game.. what an unbelievable game.

This is the first game I was able to watch.

I watched Rob close as well as Rivera, and both performed well. He is really progressing well and I bet Rivera has alot to do with that improvement.

I was really pleased by the play of the O-Line.

LOL...it was almost comical the way they would show the replay's and Kearse would just be getting physically manhandled by Rob. He was literally just throwing one of the best pass rushers in the league around like a little rag doll. I remember the only play that they showed specifically...it seriously looked like Campbell just held him up, and Rob came up and knocked him like 5 yards to the side. Great to see such a fast rising draft pick do so well. I am definately impressed.

Outstanding job by Rob. They talk of Ware being rookie of the year and rightly so, but Rob is playing WAY beyond all expections.

Great story unfolding with Rob. Great kid.

Let me add my :bravo: to the list Sarge.

Great job by Petitti, I've been pulling for him since the draft and it is nice to see him coming along so well.

Yep - RT was a huge issue going into this year, especially with Rogers using up roster space then getting injured.

There has been NO, nada, none, talk of RT problems since Rob stepped in.

If I had to pick the success story of the year, it might be Bledsoe, but Rob is getting mentioned - BIG time.

yep he is playing like a vet, really unreal for a 6th round pick to come in and start and do so damn well. Such a huge pickup for the team, he is gonna be starting for many years. hes an absolute beast out there.

I like that he has that mean streak. Appears to be going above and beyond to punish opponents. I like that - wears the heart of a defender out when he's constantly getting pounded. And at 6-6 330 - thats a pounding.

Lol.

I would be even more scared to see Rob in an alley now. (He may have Bill Parcells tucked under his coat). :)

Rob said early in Mini camps that he always played his best against big named opponents like he did against Freeny in college. He showed this yesterday. While Kearse has lost a step due to the injuries he's had he's still one of the better rushers around. That said I thought Rob did one hell of a job with little help. Granted at the start of the game we did double him some what but for the most part Rob held him in check and dominated him.

Way to go Rob now you home town team next week and another of the leagues best in strahan. Don't let old loyalties cloud your judgement they are the enemy and must be destroyed.

Yea I also liked how when they would help him out, he'd look around quickly and then just basically attack someone...no standing around or blocking guys who were already down, he wasn't hesitating either, just finding somebody and getting on them.

Madden already likes the kid, he was showing him some of the man love (during the Monday nighter) he usually reserves for Larry Allen.

Pettiti looks like he's going to anchor the right side for a while!

I was starting to get worried after Tucker, Rogers, and Peterman couldn't win starting spots. It's good to know Dallas can still pick 'em (offensive linemen) nice out of the first round.
