I must admit (it's in Friday's posts anyway), I fully expected THE OPPOSITE OUTCOME of what went down yesterday afternoon at Texas Stadium. I was shocked that Parcells finally "opened up" the offense and went for the juggular, rather that his very predictable "play not to lose" style. Same thing on defense - man, we actually played exactly like the Eagles (i.e. blitzing like crazy, and actually getting to the QB) play us defensively every time - a true role reversal!
I really expected to get blown out... what a pleasent surprise!
Not to take anything away... we played extermely well... but it appears that McNabb's injury was affecting his play a bit yesterday...

It is funny the injury to McNabb which everyone made a big deal about did not seem to effect him in the eagles 3 wins.

Finally, a good game plan, and we throw the ball down the field. We must keep Glenn healthy to make a run at the playoffs. Great day to be a Cowboy Fan in the city by the Bay! Boys win a big game and the Niners stink it up for the second week in a row.

Correction, Cowboys didn't go blitz happy yesterday. Most pressure came from front four quite a few times. They were just effective when they blitzed. Thats what a good DL does for you.

Did we really blitz like crazy? I know we blitzed some but I don't think it was as much as it looks like. More just that the Eagles couldn't handle what they were seeing up front.

The worse he played, the more his injury seemed to bother him.

It always works like that. LOL As I said he was posting outstanding numbers the media was drooling all over him and all most of the predictions had him kicking Dallas butt. Now that the game is over some want to say well he was injured? Not buying it one bit!!!!
