View Full Version : MNF: San Diego - Pittsburgh

Well-
That SD offense just SPUTTERS when it goes up against a real defense. The Steelers are rattlin Breese up.
Halftime and Pitt is up 14-7
I have a question.
MNF goes to ESPN next year if what I read is correct. Does this mean that ESPN will be showing MNF in HD? :p:

Didn't look much better for the Cowboys at halftime against the 49ers. Game isn't over yet! I predict a merging in this thread's future. BTW, I think the score is Pitt 14 San Diego 7.

Get a Plasma bro. The DLP is nice but its nothing like a high end plasma. Even the new projection is unbelievable.
You wont regret it.

Another famous ex-cowboy Quincy "Hands" Morgan does his best imitation of dropsy! Just dropped a perfect pass from Rothinsberger (sp) just prior to the half. Will he ever learn to reach out and grab the ball prior to letting it hit his body? He learned absolutely nothing in Dallas regarding catching the football!

High End Plasma is the only way to go as far as Plasma goes, anything less than that, and all other types look better. Don't want to spend $10,000? Go DLP. Or, if you can really afford it, get a HDTV capable projector and a nice 150"+ screen.

I swear- the refs in the NFL suck so bad. The college refs are 10x better than what Ive seen the past 3 weeks. That was a BS call just then w/ giving the ball back to SD after Sproles screwed up his fair catch.

You wont regret it.I got one just this weekend, and was going to return it because the OU/Texas game looked really average. But I guess that game wasn't in high def for some reason, because the MNF game tonight looks great. My mom and dad have a 46" Samsung DLP and I liked it a lot, but I think this is even better...

The NFL needs to come up with new rules that would fine refs for every bad call they make. And also if the make nuff bad calls over a certain time period they get suspended from bein a ref for so many weeks.
That would improve the way they call a game.

The ref did go into alot of detail on that call. For a second I thought I was watching a beer commercial.

I have to be honest. Its like the refs are just missing the big calls but calling the stupid stuff.
How they can throw a flag after the play is over and the guys are in the huddle is beyond me.
Hey fellas...plays over..lets get together at midfield and dish and throw a couple of flags.

I think this is the best bang for the buck under $4000. I just ordered a DVI board for it last week.

I swear if Cower looked at me like he looks at these refs, I would slap the gum down his throat. He looks like he wants to kill someone. Thats just rediculous. Talk about disrespectful.

Tomlinson makes it look so easy. He is like a man among boys.
What a great player he has turned into. Truly the best RB in the NFL.
I dont even think anyone comes close to LT right now.
He does it all.

I tell you what. Pittsburgh is going to win this game if they dont watch it.
SD cant stop the run. Bettis is delivering it straight up the middle...course a lil Hines "the giggler" Ward thrown in for good measure.

What happened?
He got hit squarely with a shoulderpad in the kneecap as he released a pass, didn't look good.

What happened?
Castillo hit him right on his knee as he planted his leg and threw. It wasnt really ugly but it wasnt pretty. You could tell it REALLY hurt him.
He left the game and is out w/ ice on it.
Game over.

What happened?
Castillo made a floppy tackle into his lower leg.
Seemed to be the shin being worked on, not the ankle or knee.
Speedy recovery - this kid is generating a lot of interest in the NFL.

I think it's going to be an ACL or MCL injury, but I'm just guessing. In the replay it looked like his knee took the brunt of the hit.

Doesn't look good for Roth, time will tell. Needless to say, this would me a major blow to the Steelers.

I swear I read one of the Pittsburgh trainers lips, he was talking to Roethlisberger on the sideline and said "It looks bad", emphasizing bad.
man, i picked 11 of 14 games right this week against the spread for the tavern pool. all i needed was Pitts and total score of 50 to win the whole pot, wouldve been like 800 bucks. missed it by 4 points. stupid fg's, LOL.
yo, did you guys notice Brees did not play well when his security blanket was double teamed....he kept throwing to him anyway, and the passes are not always that good, just that Gates catches anything near him. Brees was short with the deep ball a lot too. Wouldnt really want him on our team, he does ok with gates, tomlinson and that O Line, but what qb wouldnt ? I dont think hed be very effective on a different team.

Polamalu's (sp) hair is longer than SamRyan's. I just wish she went by Samantha instead of Sam because Sam is a guy's name and she ain't no guy ;)
