I think some interesting and very surprising things will happen after the 2005 season. Before I go there I will say if the Boys keep playing like they did against Philly they will only get better and we will have a chance at #6.

Now next year if we get 1 more good WR on this team there will be no stopping us from getting #6 next year. They might as well just give it to us. So here is what will go down. Oh and yeah I wrote this....
...

....

long so that way you cant peak at it through the pop up window and read it.
Im just to smart.

The 2006 Cowboys WRs will be.

1. Terell Owens - thats right. TO will be wearing a Cowboy jersey all next year and for years to come. not just after 1 game like Sunday.

You see Owens is talkin to Irvin right now. Irvin is sayin look my [admin-edit] you aint gonna get no ice in Philly. Philly is sinkin and the Boys are on the rise. Hold out and let them release you and go to Dallas TO. You see how Bledsoe gets his passes to his WR so easy. You will have some great years in Dallas and have some rings to. I bet they are talkin this and TO gave us a hint of who will be a new Cowboy next year after that Philly game on Sunday.

If BP can handle Key he can handle TO. Get ready for TO Cowboy fans.

2. Keyshawn Johnson - he still has game. Just imagine. 6'3" TO on one side. 6'4" Key on the other and 6'5" Witten at TE. Serious size mismatches.

3. Terry Glenn - will be even more dangerous outta the slot.

4. Pat Crayton

5. Copper. I think he stays. BP likes him.

Yeah, that'll happen... Jerry will be REAL eager to go out and sign the single biggest troublemaker in the NFL today... and of course, he'd be THRILLED to screw up his salary cap in order to get the deal done, after he's taken a coupla years to get the cap situation back in good shape...

And TO will be REAL eager to sign with a team that he clearly has no respect for...

I'd like to think you're not really foolish enough to believe that will ever happen...

And I can tell you right now that if such a thing actually did happen, I'd IMMEDIATELY start rooting for a season-ending injury in training camp, so that I never had to actually see that jagoff in a Cowboys uniform... signing him would almost be enough to make me find another team to root for, after 45 years of backing the Boys...

You play too much Madden and Fantasy Football son. This is absolutely the most idiotic thing I've heard in a while. I don't wnat to call you stupid, because it's against the rules, so I'll just say, you're completely wrong on this one.

Let me ask you something...have you followed TO at all the last few years? Let's just start with the Star Incident. Then let's see, he snubbed the Ravens, and what does he do when he scores a TD against them, Ray Lewis End ZOne Dance..

Now here's some brain fodder for you...think about if the Eagles had won...you think TO doesn't don the jersey? HE'S ALL ABOUT THE PUBLICITY.

You should go buy your Terell Owens Cowboy jersey now before he becomes a Cowboy. Cuz when he does everyone will want one.

as to the topic at hand I hate TO more than any player in the league. He may be talented but he's obnoxius, bad for chemistry, and tried to insult the cowboys by posing on the star.

I would NOT be happy if he came do the cowboys, nor do I see it as much of a possibility with all the emphasis Bill seems to be putting on character these days

I will basically wager anything you want that TO never becomes a Dallas Cowboy.

I think more disturbing than the number of threads I see saying TO will be a Cowboy... is how many posters seem to actually be happy about the possibility.

I won't even address the TO stuff - he's got as much chance of starting in Dallas as Jerry Rice does now, I reckon.

But the Terry to the slot suggestion always merits a shout down (right ABQ? :)) - and my latest reason is Bill's very recent pc remark that he wants his slot receiver to be a good blocker.

I'm surprised at this point folks are still anxious to get Glenn OFF the field, even if it comes as part of yet another T.O. wetdream.

Come to think of it, I'm NOT surprised.

For the life of me I cannot understand why any fan of any team would want Terrell Owens on their team. Owens is a cancer and has been his entire career.

Even before he had done anything he was pushing for him to get more catches than Rice and suggesting that Jerry retire (sounds like Hambrick there).

Then the fact that he drops nearly as many as he catches brings him down from the ranks of the elite receivers.

He whined about getting out of San Fran and the Niners couldn't get rid of him fast enough. Oh but wait, he doesn't want to go to Baltimore, he wants to go where he will be the main focus of the offense in Philly and play with his best bud Donovan McNabb.

Then when he gets his way, he finds out that Donovan is the focus of the offense and he doesn't like that so he again starts to do and say things to undermine McNabb's status with the team and now they are no longer best buds. In fact he won't even talk to McNabb.

You getting the idea here yet? Owens is all about TO and couldn't care less about anyone else. He is meIon X 10 IMO. I didn't want Deion here so why would I want a guy who is even worse than him?

First, it will never happen.

Second, for even wanting it to happen you should be flogged.

Third, for predicting that it WILL happen you should be forced to root for the Cardinals for the rest of your life.

Now, put the crack-pipe down and seek professional help today!

TO only has respect for $.

But JJ still has some respect for himself. No way they sign him.

Why pay $49 million for a cancer when you can simply buy a bunch of smokes?

Also note that T.O. will be 32 in December and is still a complete tard.

Let's review Parcells history since becoming the Head Coach.

Waived Derek Ross because he had attitude problems.

Waived Quincy Carter because he "couldn't trust him."

Traded Antonio Bryant because he had attitude problems.

Has focused his drafts and Free Agency on acquiring players with good character.

Sound like a recipe for adding Terrell Owens?

Personally, I don't see it and it has nothing whatesoever to do with him dancing on the star. Parcells cannot afford distractions or lack of focus on team. It is counter productive to what he is trying to build here.

Wow, I hate to be critical, but how the hell will anyonne get a TO jersey before he became a Cowboy????? That was more rediculous than the suggestion that he would actually come here. About that, he WONT be coming here, we dont need him. BP would never go for that, and I would doubt it if BP resigned should Jerry insist on bringing him in. I dont even think Jerry wants him, not after the way he disrespected our Star. I hate to question anyone's loyalty to the boys, but dude, you're skating the line with this one.

I might be in the minority....but I'm all for it. We have had some players in years past with less perfect attitudes on this team.

Winning cures all. I think Bill can handle Owens.

is TO a headcase? you bet.

selfish? no doubt.

a distraction? to be sure.

but he is probably the single-most talented WR playing in the game today. i don't want him playing for my Cowboys... but those saying he has no business in this league are WAAAAAAAY out of bounds.

I also dont see truth to saying that the Boys will lose a lot of fans. A true fan will just accept it, clap when he scores a TD a go back to hating him after that.

Wow, I thought this was a legitimate thread ... not some sci fi fantasy. Better yet, some horror flick.

We don't want TO. Fork him!!!

Key will lose a step next year and be relegated to #3 WR. Price will be re-signed and star for this team. Glenn will have one more solid year before calling it quits.

We will draft a stud WR and let him learn. Crayton will fall to #5.

I think you are wrong about every single idea you present in this post.

T.O. will finish his career in Philly....right now there isn't another team in the NFL that would touch him, and I believe that's a fact. Teams will put up with a great deal for a player like him on Sundays, but the stuff he dealt this year sickened coaches, owners, agents, other players, fans, and even the media.

He has burned every bridge out of Philly, and that's a fact. Philly has the worst receiving situation in the NFL without T.O....it has cost them possible trophies in the past. If even Philly would decide they don't want him, who would?

I think key is moved to #3. Glenn and crayton will start, and if we still have Price i think he has a chance to start ahead of glenn sometime mid season 2006. then our draft pick in 2006 will be #4 and move up to #3 in 2007 behind crayton/price, or #2 in 2007 along with crayton, and key glenn last year on the team.

Can I re-state my request from two days ago that we ban any poster who says the Cowboys need Owens. I laid out my very specific argument why we should do this in my prior post, and I incorporate those arguments to this thread.

Ban everyone who keeps saying this. It is one the most ignorant things a fan of the Dallas Cowboys say, has no basis in reality, and will only encourage more nonsense along the same lines if such posts remain!

Keyshawn was my single most despised player (a title now owned by TO) before he came to the boys. I hated him for the way he disrespected Chrebet, I hated him for thinking and saying he was better than he was, I hated him for his antics in TB. Now magically I root for and love the guy's intensity. Have I abandoned my convictions for the team I love? I really don't know the answer. I do know this, with the way I feel about TO, I would feel very hypocritical rooting for the guy if were on our team. Personally, I don't think it will ever happen especially if BP is still here. Jerry does get seduced by the superstar factor on occasion...

To be a talented WR in the league, you must add to your teams' chances of making the Super Bowl. TO has so much baggage and selfishness that comes with him, that he detracts from his teams' chances of winning big. That should disqualify him from even playing. However, knowing that he's taking down the Eagles with him, well.... that makes me smile!
