If you don't mind driving to VA, There's a place called Bungalow Billiards that I'm going to give a shot. (It's near Springfield Mall)

You could always go to the Green Turtle in Laurel on route 1.
OR Cornerstone in College Park also on route 1.
Seeing that you live in Hyattsville, both of those places are pretty close. ESPN is overrated.

I curious how A-Train is going to handle Thompson starting ahead of him......hummmmm. Personally, I don't care which one of them starts as long as they produce when they are in there, that's all I care about. You can bet that we'll hear the commentators tell us all about Thompson not only making the team, but now starting today as being a local free agent signee.

me hopes JJ CAN GO
The question is, if he goes, will he be effective as a healthy TT?
My guess is JJ doesn't play today and that is HUGE.
You can't just replace JJ and think you won't miss anything.
I'm fairly concerned about this whole situation.

It's huge in the sense that teams wont have 8 in the box, which means it's going to be that much harder to throw, when you have 2 S 2 CB and 2 LB in coverage

Man, this whole week the signs were getting clearer and clearer that he wouldn't go. Everyone kinda didn't think about it till now...

WE should really sit JJ this week... We win today with Air Bledsoe/Defense/ The burst of Thompson Tyson to balance aout the attack.
I personally think Thompson is the second best runner on our team and SHOULD start ahead of A-Train and Barber.
Thompson reminds me a LOT of Dave Meggett. Maybe not in stature but in his speed, moves and BURST.
I know he's a rookie and the blitz pick-up does make me a bit nervous BUT, He is the best "pure" runner have after JJ.
Let's go with Thompson and see him get his first 100 yard game today!

After last week - I'm thinking they wouldn't have been 8 in the box anyways.

"starter" simply means they will take the field on the first play from scrimmage - in other words who will be in the backfield on first down. as A-train is better suited to picking up blitzes, he will be in regularly on third down as well as spelling TT should he need it, but i'm sure TT will get his share of third down snaps as well, depending on yardage, field position, etc.
Parcells spoke to him and i'm sure he understands that he is an active insurance policy should TT not be up to the task, and that he'll get his share of snaps, but TT is more the future at the backup spot at least at this point.
its nice to have this depth, where we can pick and choose which back gives us the best chance to compete week to week, including MB3. i expect Atrain to not be with the team next year, as i'm sure he is aware, but no doubt he'll sign on with another club. its early in the season and as we evaluate our young RBs its comforting to know Atrain is on the roster. if it ends up TT or MB3 can't cut the mustard for whatever reason, Atrain can step in. Look at it this way - he's a big improvement over EG...

No he's the pust Pure speed guy we have on the team, the only thing that TT brings to the team that i see is speed.
vison, quickness, Juke, he doesnt have any of that, all i see is a stcik running real fast through the hole, and that i really dont want to see.
jj is our stud rb
TT a nice story - but not a feature back NFL starter. I hope I'm wrong on that. Kid reminds me of Reshard Lee - undrafted, split time in a small school starting. Everyone loves the backup QB's and Rb's. They are usually the backup for a reason.
Barber gets a lot of action - book it.

I agree with Nors...if JJ is inactive I think Barber will get his most action this yr and probably get 8-12 carries...wouldnt surprise me if Thomas, Thompson and Barber all ended up with a similar amount of carries today
now if one of the backs gets "hot" Parcells might run him more, otherwise I think its gonna be RB by committee today

Most of us have figured this already, but the official word is finally coming out. Fox Sports and KFFL reported this morning that TT IS the starter today. They didn't, however, inform us about whether JJ would be active today.

Thats good. A week off for JJ will be better for us in two ways. A fresher JJ down the road and a more experienced TT down the road. Good call by Parcells, I suspected this much during the week.

I like TT alot, but it worries me that he is starting. Not sold on his blitz pick up and don't know if he can hold on to the ball.

if our line blocks like they did last week parcells could gain 100 yards w/ 8 men in the box..............so im not too concerned
