Think about it.
We have a HOF coach.
We are now running the 3-4.
Bledsoe is also a HOF'er.
Why not?
I look for the Cowboys to go undefeated the rest of the way and perhaps win it all.

They won't go 14-2.
But they're much better than last year. They should have creamed the Giants.

Why are you stopping at 14-2. Playoff wins don't count?

I think we'll never beat a decent team playing the way we did today. If we had played a legit contender today we would have been crushed. Parcells shows absolutely no guts when the game is on the line. 4th and inches and he pulls that lame 'draw them offsides or give up' bull****??? How about trying to actually ice the game there? How about making taking ONE shot at the endzone in our last two drives into the red zone?
This win feels worse than the Skins loss to me, because I think the Skins are a better team than the Giants. I really think we beat a bunch of scrubs today, and the way we dominated them on both sides of the ball we should have won by 20+ pts.

Must of went to the bar for the game.
No way in heck. We are playing better def each week but are still asking Bledsoe to carry the offense. If the OL firms up and plays with a mean streak, I can see a run.

slow down killer, lol, this is a litle too out there. I say 13 wins is the absolute BEST case scenario, more likely to get 11 or 12, but I like where your going.....SB.....that would be nice!

How come when we win, its 14-2 and when we lose, its 5-11 or 6-10 at best as some said after the raiders game. Its the same team, 10-6 11-5,,, playoff birth.

No....we won't go 14-2....I guess, technically speaking, that it is possible.
However it's very unlikely.
We've only one ONE game by more than a TD. We've allowed teams to drive the field on us at the end of games to either tie, take the lead, or attempt to take the lead.
Good teams don't do this. Good teams stop other teams early in their drives. Now, I'm not saying that we can't get to that point...but we're going to continue having "growing pains" until we figure it out.

The turnovers are the only reason this game was close.
As for the 4th and inches if we went for that and missed it we would have lost this game
well, we can play with anyone in the nfc, that much is true, we just need to start blowing teams out more like we did the eagles, these close games wont cut it, but now we know how it feels to be patriot fans, wins come with heart attacks.

Right now, I'd say 11-5, we wont beat the Iggles in Philly, and I dopubt we beat Carolina in their house either. Then we will lose at least one that we shouldnt.

So the previous wins against decent teams was what? WE're getting better and have a more games...and we'll get worse? I think we beat some really good teams..got some wins not many people creditied us with...some fans didnt credit the team for and now your saying after beating the Giants..we may not win anymore. I think thats jumping the gun just a bit.

The turnovers are the only reason this game was close.
As for the 4th and inches if we went for that and missed it we would have lost this game
If your QB can't fall forward for 3 inches at their 3 yard line you deserve to lose the game. And there is nothing to indicate that we would have lost the game had we not picked up the first down. The Giants still would have had to go 97 yards.
BTW, to anyone who hasn't figured it out Sarge is making fun of some of the posts and posters of late. The things he gave as his reasons for our going 14 - 2 are all things people on this site have been saying in various threads. And they all seem pretty ridiculous when you can barely beat the scrubs of the NFL at home.

Sarge, this was a huge win....that I agree with, 14-2, not gonna happen we commit too many penalties and are not good about tucking the ball away.

injuries piling up, vulnerable to the deep pass/big play, rookies make mistakes, issues on special teams. We do have some legit new stars and depth for the first time in a while. I just looked at the schedule. I see 9-7 or 10-6.

We did have an injury today (Crayton). That is true. I might be wrong w/the 14-2 but I can see 13-3 bigtime.

I'm shocked Sarge.
Considering we still have to play this same team and the Iggles/Skins on the road.
Is it possible...of course.
Let's just say I wouldn't bet anything on it.

Denver on thanksgiving day, as much as I would hate to see that, I cant stand the Broncos.
No way at 14-2 but 12-4 is a good possiblity, and Id be happy with it.

I'm still hoping we finish with a winning record, hopefully 9 or 10 wins. That would be pretty huge IMO. Each game against our division rivals will be a lot tougher than the first time around and our out of division foes are going to be brutal too. We have to play better and we have to find a way to run the ball and play prevent defense.
I think the sarcasm in this thread went right over a few people's heads. Sometimes twice.

No reason we can't win at Carolina, they're not that good.
14-2 might be stretch, but 12-4's not. I think we'll be 6-2 heading into the bye week.
That's on pace for 12 wins, and we've blown a couple.
Home field advantage in the playoffs isn't out of the question.
Passing game looks great, defense getting better, but the whole key will be to get Julius going. If we can get a running game, I think the consistency we're looking for will follow.

14-2? I hope this team proves me wrong, but I don't see it. 11-5 is looking very realistic, though, and that might just win the division with a first round BYE and second round home game. There's an excellent chance that the division winners coming out of the North and West are going to have 9-7 or worse records.

i said 11-5 before the season, and im sticking to it..........but this team looks better than i thought it would 6 games into the season. Considering Julius has yet to have a great game and we all thought he would be a key part to our success, 12-4 isnt out of the ? HOW BOUT THEM COWBOYS!!!!

If they win the next 9 in a row, I am going to camp out at Ford Field.
I am going to get in the Super Bowl.

Nah they still have an uphill battle to split the division series. But 9-7 is realistic and then a playoff win would be the next test.
