I'd say we made a fine 1st round draft choice :)

He looks good but will be better as he learns to play that position.
He's a bad@@@. He causes alot of disruption to the opposing offenses game plan. He's a keeper.

11 sack, ROY, and Pro Bowl. Every team he plays game plans against him, so it's obvious that they know he's a threat. That equals lots of Pro Bowl votes. I don't care how good people say Merriman is, knowone is gameplanning against him. He doesn't have to be accounted for each time he's on the field. I couldn't count how many times Ware was dbl-teamed this game. He has everyone's attention when he's on the field, unlike Merriman.

You can already see that offenses routinely are doubling him up in passing situations. His quickness, especially form the standup position, is too much for most OLs.

He's really on pace for about 14 sacks, he went the first 2 games without a sack and now has a sack in 4 consecutive games. So if he keeps it up he'll end up with 14 sacks on the year (all in a row).

Great 1st pick in the draft........just think.....He's only played in 6 reg season games. We haven't seen anything yet.lol
The best is yet too come
The mere fact that a guy that is still learning the game, and his position, can record four sacks in four consecutive games says something about the guy's ability.
I couldn't see most of the second half, when was his sack? Details please.

Jsut basically outran the T to the QB and pulled Eli down, i think it put them out of field postion, and stalled a TD drive i do belive

Giants were deep in Dallas territory when Ware cleanly beat Pettitgout on an outside speed rush. Pettigout didn't even get a finger on him - one of the few times the Giants decided not to double team him.

wow, this guys is turning into a force. He is so fast off the edge. You dont see alot of other guys in the league right now who have that burst off the edge. Did you notice it ony took about 2 series before NYG had a RB sliding over there. He manhandled Pettigout all day. The one play where he got held, he chcuked Petti. to the side with ease. The guy is playing great
hes playing great and continues to get better, i know kearse isnt that good this year and i dont know how many other de/ olbs are as good as him in the nfc, could he make the probowl?
And to top it off, he is now a beast against the run.
You see teams less and less try and run at him. Today he made a play when they ran at him and he made a play when they ran away from him.
Really is turning into quite the player.
Now we only need Spears to start playing like a first rounder...

We should get old 94(Haley) to teach new 94(Ware) some pass rushing moves next offseason.

Spears did pretty good. Even though his job is to plug the middle he still broke through at least once and got pressure on Manning, chasing him to the sideline and forcing him to throw the ball away.

Ware becoming a sack artist in just his rookie year, its scary how good he is gonna be next year and beyond as he continues to learn the game and get better

He's gaining confidence with every game for sure. Ware is not a dominating force yet, but is getting closer and closer.
I remember when Haley got 4 sacks in the first half against Pittsburgh.
Now that's dominating.

I think his performance is pretty uneven right now, which is exactly what would be expected for a rookie out of a small school, learning a new position. Actually, "uneven" wouldn't be expected. "Lost" would be expected.
He does flash great potential.

You mean, he isn't a bust? I thought some folks had already decided he was after the first game or two this year.

There was a play in the second quarter, I believe. The Giants ran a stretch play to their right. And they left Ware unblocked on their leftside. He chased Tiki Barber down from the backside on the other side of the formation for a loss on the play. His closing speed on plays like that get me as jazzed as any sack.
Not many can make that play.

He looks great pass rushing and is getting chipped all the time...
But today he also looked great against the run... I remember the backside play, and there was another one run right at him. Plus i see him holding contain more often... If only the middle LBs were as good images/icons/icon6.gif

Right now, there are 2 players, one of them in the NFC, who have the burst. Dwight Freeney is just sick with his speed off the edge. The other, who IMO, is the best player period, Julius Peppers..if anyne was watching that Carolina-Det. game, you may have seen the play where he came off the edge, completely got around the tackle, reached in and made a play on the ball..he's also 6'6" pushin 300lbs.
Ware is going to be really good. He is already starting to look more comfortable in coverage and doing his outside containment. Each week he looks more and more natural out there, rather than thinking too much

Can't actually recall anyone saying he was bust. Let's not be paranoid here. Next you'll be claiming someone has an anti-Ware agenda.
