I gotta admit I was thinking another Monday night repeat because I thought the play calling was too conservative, but after reviewing the stats, Bledsoe attempted 37 passes. Great defensive effort to keep us in the game!

The play calling was VERY conservative - but only in the final 8 minutes or so. On our last 2 FGs we were basically just playing for the 3 pts IMO. I don't think we had any chance of scoring a TD unless the Giants totally blew a coverage (on one of our screen passes) or missed multiple tackles.

it wasn't conservative so much for the number of runs, but the plays that were called. we seem to like the reverse, but when we needed to try to run outside we went into the line, and when we needed to push it up straight ahead we tried to get cute and run left, and were thrown for a loss at a critical point late in the game. i'm not sure what type of defense they ran, but we did not give Drew nearly the protection he got last week. i wonder if the blocking schemes were meant to neutralize Strahan and we got burned a few times because of it... and we never developed a rythym after the bobbled snap and fumble. if we had been able to march down and score that first drive, this might have been a much different game. it set the tone for a sloppy performance by the offense.

sure we could have scored a TD...we did on Witten's 2nd TD didnt we? unfortunately it was called back for a penalty (which didnt exist by the way) but this play for the FG, play not to lose mentality nearly got us beat, again

No, the penalty did exist. Al Johnson wrapped his arms all around that defensive tackle. He didn't need to though. The DT bull rushed him so well and knocked him down, if Al just falls he still will be in the guys way and Drew has time to throw the pass.

There was nothing conservative about the Cowboys offense, we turned the dam ball over 4 time that is what went wrong with the offense. Dallas had no problem moving the ball we just did not hold on to it. We through for over 300 yards and we were conservative? Give me a break!!!
