Thats a good question. Last year or the year before a game was moved to Saturday but it was blacked out. I gotta look into that.

From what I recall, it is covered by the Sunday ticket. One problem though....because it's the "Sunday" ticket. The game will not be shown nationally until Sunday. Everyone will get to see the game in real time, but not it's origainally scheduled time.
My guess is that only the Miami and KC markets will get to see these games on Friday.

I hope not. I pay $200 dollars to watch the games. I want to watch the games live not tape delayed.
PS I have Holmes in fantasy football.

That's why it's called the "SUNDAY" ticket my friends.
I'll be shocked if we get to see it on Friday.

Same thing happened either last year or the previous year. Think it was a Jags game.
The game was delayed. And it sucked because everyone already knew the outcome.

Why don't they just move the game to Kanas City, but call it a home game for the Dolphins? The NFL has proven that works.

NFL moves Chiefs Dolphins to Friday night because of hurricane
October 20, 2005
NEW YORK (AP) -- The game between the Miami Dolphins and the Kansas City Chiefs was rescheduled to Friday night to beat Hurricane Wilma's arrival in Florida.
The game will begin at 7 p.m. Friday instead of Sunday afternoon, which is about when Wilma is expected to hit Florida's southwestern coast.
NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said broadcast and television details were being worked out.
It's the third time since the start of the 2004 season that the Dolphins have rescheduled a home game because of a looming hurricane. Last year's home opener against Tennessee was played a day early because of Hurricane Ivan, and the Dolphins' Week 3 game with Pittsburgh was pushed back 7 1/2 hours by Hurricane Jeanne.
Maybe it will be on TV....

NFL moving day
The NFL broke precedent and moved the game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Miami Dolphins up two days to Friday night because of the threat of Hurricane Wilma. I'm surprised the league office didn't move the game out of harm's way to Kansas City.
After all, the league took a home game away from New Orleans in Week 2 and gave it to the visitor (Giants), forcing the Saints to play in New York, because of Hurricane Katrina. That just shows the difference in clout between a New York team and a Kansas City team in the league office.

joseephuss, you have to realize the Tags isnt going to do that because let's not forget, the superdome was destroyed by hurricane Katrina, they couldnt play in it, on any day, so they really dont want to have to hear angry fans, if they move this game
They could have played that Giants game SOMEWHERE close to their natural home.... That was flat out wrong.

CBS will televise the game live to the Miami and Kansas City primary and secondary markets, which are WFOR/Miami, WPEC/West Palm Beach and WINK/Ft. Myers in the Dolphins' area, and KCTV/Kansas City and WIBW/Topeka in the Chiefs' territory.
For customers of Sirius Satellite Radio, the game will be available live on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on Channel 121 for the Chiefs' radio broadcast and Channel 131 for the Dolphins' broadcast.
On NFL.com, fans can follow the GameCenter live on the scoreboard, or listen to the local radio broadcast of the game via the Field Pass subscription service. (Field Pass is available on a seven-day free trial basis for first-time subscribers.)
A tape-delayed telecast of the Dolphins-Chiefs game will be shown nationally on NFL Network on Sunday night, Oct. 23, at a time to be determined.

Canadian You are pi$$ing in my cornflakes.
We are not extending the telecast to more markets because we want to adhere as closely as possible to the spirit of our longstanding policy not to conflict with high school and college football during their seasons (which means Friday night and Saturday)," NFL spokesman Greg Aiello said.
I'm sure it going to interfear with highschool games telecast on TV

Never seen a high school game on TV here, except on public access or something a day or 2 later, or the state championship game. I live in KC though, so I'll be seeing it anyway.
